And a litle advice, bring a blanket to sit on and NY fans will not take your seats, that is how most people save their seats for the game. Now, if Ironton fans are clamoring for seats they might think that someone just laid out a blanket for them to rest their weary behinds but NY fans know a saved seat is a saved seat/

Boston Field has joined the ranks of the big time! Considering school construction will be finished after this school year, we might see at least one non-NY playoff game at Boston Field every season now! :)

Who'll be home? will Ironton be the home team as they were the 2 seed? I'm guessing that's the way it will be.

Only Heath's second playoff game in it's school's history, first was in 1990

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but I wonder where the game after this would be played IF we beat Heath.

this is serious, sure we like playing in week 12. but we should be rewarded for it, not forced to stand, and some of these seats will be taken by the band. after you have made 27 playoff appearences you know when you are getting shafted.

ironton will be home till we meet amanda , unless coshocton knocks off amanda, then they'll assume number 1, that is if we win.

There is talk of bringing in temporary bleachers for the playoff games. That should alleviate worries concerning seating.

Sweet. What is the parking like at the stadium? Do you have to pay? Thanks.

Why....I like the atmosphere up there...and the field is nice...but not enough Seating....for a div 5 on up playoff game...to have Ironton traveling twice as far as the other team that is seated lower is bad enough...then to send us to a stadium that doesn't have anywhere close to enough seats...is a travesty...This is really a bad call by the state...not only will they miss out on many Ironton $$$$...they will punish many Ironton fans from watching a good game by not thinking when they placed this game...wow...so unfortunate...

in all seriousness , you have no idea how ironton travels, turn out the lights in the town, when we are in the playoffs, and the state knows it. this is a travesty.

NY does not charge for parking. There should be plenty of parking right in front of the school. No long walks at all.

you can't put 5,000 people , maybe more in 1500 seats. wait and see how many. this will cost everybody. heads should roll for this. great facility. not nearly enough seats, you have to figure 1500/1800 visitors from adjoining communities.

It'd be nice if we could get a bus for fans to go to the game. I'd like that a lot more than having to drive.

Middletown vs Cincinnati Anderson 2:30
Cincinnati St. Xavier Vs Elder 5:30

I will hope I can get one of the huge Ironton fans to calll or text me with updates.

So will the playoff revenue from these two playoff games be enough for NY to finish the athletic field rennovations???? :122245 :122245 :122245

We still have to renovate our state-of-the-art baseball and softball fields!

What kind of revenue do host sites get? Just parking/concessions?
