Should be an interesting season. I'll take LE and BC as preseason favorites.

Logan Elm and Bloom Carrol will duke it out for this one.

Logan Elm does have a couple good schools on their schedule non-conference; Westerville South, Detroit Prep, and (I think it's at ZT) Waverly.

Is Hauserman going to be suiting up for the Braves this year?

How have the MSL Buckeye teams looked in their scrimmages? Any new faces, or faces that didn't show up? Only a few more weeks til it all gets going!

I predict Logan Elm to win this division, but Bloom-Carroll and Canal Winchester always seem to put out respectable teams.......the Braves may not dominate the MSL Buckeye, but should have enough to win the league.

I plan on getting a better idea of the Mid-State Buckeye at the Zane Trace Classic when Logan Elm plays Waverly in the nightcap, while in the middle game Bloom-Carroll will face a good Zane Trace team. I plan on being there for all 3 games on Friday, including the first tilt between Piketon and Hillsboro.

The BC and Elm coaches are excellent. Top two teams in the league.

Circleville will be improved but still not be that great yet. I see six to eight wins and probably finish fifth or sixth. I'll go with Bloom Carroll to win the league.

... like trojandave, I will be in the cheap seats to see the action at the Zane Trace Tip Off - really looking forward to the action both days and nights ... Logan Elm, Bloom Carroll and Canal have been the powers in the MSL forever it seems - great coaching at all three schools - it always seems to come down to who has the upper hand talent wise in any given season ... I too look for Circleville to be improved under the 2nd year guidance of Coach Eric Evans ... he falls in the category of a Coach Stiverson - teaches fundamentals, knows the game, CAN coach and teach big men in the paint (not a given in the high school hoops imo), hangs his hat on tough team play on both ends of the floor ... give Coach Evans the opportunity to get his PROGRAM in place for a few years and the Roundtown boyz will be right in the mix in the MSL ...

Logan Elm loses about 55 ppg. avg. with the graduation of Congrove, Aman, and Houserman not playing ( at least thats the last word I had ). They will still be athletic, but my money will be on the move ins to Teays Valley, from the SWCS. I've heard they have even more size than the 6'10" red head from last year.

Canal won't be far out of the mix, and your a fool if you bet against Petty and his Bulldogs.

Amanda has the potential to win some games, but a late start to the roundball season will hurt them for a while, not to mention that the rims at Amanda are just a little bigger than the balls are :-)

Logan is playing for Logan Elm and Anderson is the tallest kid on TV's team. The SWCS kids are Cowles and Hodge on the team, who both played football also for TV. The top six are going to be a pretty interesting mix in the league.

There is going to be a nice doubleheader at ZT on Friday with Bloom-Carroll taking on ZT around 615pm and LE playing Waverly at 8pm.

My Braves will be right there in 2009-10. I will also be there this Friday at Zane Trace. The first game is Hillsboro/ Piketon at 4:45. I watched a great foundation game at ZT last night. ZT beat Hillsboro in OT 66-64.
