Re: 2017 Cincinnati Reds
Would you rather be mediocre for years or be terrible for 3-4 years and then have a decade of sustained success?

Good trade. I bet we struggle with ticket sales this year.

If you mean Queto and Chapman then this is not a fair comparison. Anything we got for them was a plus because they were about to become free agents and we would have got ZERO nothing nota for them. Every trade they have made in the last two years has been good IMO.d-5 wrote:I agree they got more for him then the last two (star) pitchers they tradeddanicalifornia wrote:Great, great trade for the Reds. Completely stole 3 prospects for a dude coming off of his first good season that doesn't project well moving forward.
Luis Castillo has hit 100 mph and has had a great K/BB ratio in the minors. He was ranked 2nd in the Marlins farm system. Austin Brice was ranked 9th and when he switched to the pen last year, he was utterly dominant in the minors. Struggled in the show, but most guys do at first. Isiah Harris is super raw, but has super upside.

I don't trust the people making the decisions to help guide this organization to where we all want it to go.
