Wow! This must have been a great game to watch. It sounds like Gallia was more than a handful for the Tigers and could have won this game pretty easilly. I know there's no such thing as a good loss but the Devils should hold their heads high after this one.

This is the slowest Ironton team i have seen, pretty evenly matched teams, Jackson should walk through the seoal this year.

It's amazing how the scheduling is anymore. Maybe these high school coaches have taken a tip from the college coaches in scheduling creampuffs the first 4 or 5 games of the year non conference for easy wins just hoping you may get lucky and eek out a couple more wins in the season to become bowl eligible or as in high school, playoff eligible. Pretty soon you'll have a team trying to schedule South Webster, Lynchburg-Clay, White Oak and Bishop Flaget their first five games until the AD finds out that the first four teams don't play football and the last school was closed down 25 years ago. It is getting pretty bad and the sad part is, if these teams do make it to the playoffs they get beat by 45 points and their fans are screaming, they ran the score up on us. Give it a break, the contenders and pretenders will be separated come playoff time.

ok, Alex schedule is fine. They will win more than they lose and the program will thrive because of it. They will go to the playoffs, win or lose and the program will thrive. This program was down for many many years. Now they are not so down and are going to give their league some points if they defeat them. I could care less. If the team doesnt want to play them they dont have to. Does everyone think its easy to get a schedule together. They are at least 2 years ahead of the year they actually play.

Didn't your White Falcons schedule Hannan last year as one of their two non league games? They made it to the state finals with a weak schedule. My point is how do you blast other schools for doing what your school does? Wahama could have played Point as a non league game.
