I wanted to be the first to thank the Chieftains for giving us so much enjoyment this season! You've got nothing to be ashamed of boys! 11-1, another SEOAL title, the season was still a great one!

To the seniors: Zach McDaniel, Patrick Angle, Ryan Sigler, Mason Mays, Korey Swaim, Caleb Valkinburg, Jordan Rutter, Robert Reed, Michael Snider, Alex Lewellen, Kyle Andy, Joe Dennis, Kevin Smith, Bobby Russell, Ralph Robinson, Kris Kernen, Jeffery Murphy, Brock Thompson, and T.J. McCray...Wish you boys nothing but the best in the future! The Chieftain Nation can not tell you enough how proud we are of you boys! You guys had amazing careers and gave the Chieftain Nation many great games and memories! Best of luck!

To the rest of the Chieftains..take a break..then get back to work! Next season will be here before you know it! Hang those heads high and be proud of all you have accomplished as a Chieftain!

Tough day in the dazed household. This, too, shall pass and the things we will remember will all be great. How about 31-4 for three varsity seasons for this senior class. Not to mention their "sweep" of seasons as 7th and 8th grade teams and freshmen. I can't begin to tell all you guys how much fun it has been to watch you all grow up together and play with such passion. Apply that passion to all you do in life and everyone of you will go far. All you guys- Zach, Patrick, Ryan, Mason, Korey, Caleb, Jordan, Robert, Michael, Alex, Kyle, Joe, Kevin, Bobby, Ralph, Kris, Jeffery, Brock, and T.J., great job. I'll miss you all playing together as a team. Thanks to all the coaches at all the levels, including Tomahawks, who helped mold these young men into the fine kids they are. Special thanks to Coach Amyx; keep up the tradition! And finally, thanks 59, you are very special to me and your mom and we love you very much!

Best set of athletes Logan has ever put on the football field, IMO. This is a very hard-working, classy and not to mention very talented group of young men. You've all put forth 110% effort in each and every game, and you are to be commended for that! Great season, great careers for you seniors, and it was an overwhelming joy to spend my Friday nights in the fall watching you play! I wish you success in whatever life brings your way in the future! You've made us all proud to be Chieftains! Thanks a million boys - it's been a great ride!

I give Mr. Angle credit for breaking almost every HS record a D-2 COLLEGE Record holder ever had. Sounds like D-1 Material to me!
On a different note, the rest of the team who did all of that work with little or no recognition should get the biggest pat on the back this time. We have many unnoticed Players who enabled every play to be executed as beautifully as they were!
My hat is off, and I will talk about this team for the rest of my life in some capacity when "Greatness" is mentioned in the same sentence as HS Football!

Hey, I got there late and had to stand by the end zone. I'll try to get there a little earlier this time. My son and his buddy stood over by the concessions most of the night in their letter jackets. Why don't you save us a seat this time?
