Southeastern the biggest mover of the week at +14?
Coach Slaughter is doing a really good job and has a really nice freshmen class with 2 playing prominent roles at this point. Could be a scary team to see at Waverly.

VC destroys Athens twice, Athens should have beat Fairland in regulation. Put me down for Vikes No. 1.

Would a, could a, should a. How do u get they should have won in regulation? And anyway they didn't. VC lost to a .500 D3 school for their only loss. Fairland lost to a good D1 school for their only loss. Plus beat Athens without the possible southeastern Ohio district player of the year, and have not lost a game without him. Take away any other schools most dominant player and see how they respond and you think VC deserves to be 1. DREAM ON. I thought you knew more basketball than that Bulldog.

I have seen both play. Without Van Horn VC would win by 10+.
With Van Horn i'd give the nod to Fairland.
Is he back yet? If not, I say VC No. 1. Not based on who they lost to or who they beat - but from what I see with my own two eyes.

Chillicothe at this point in the season is a team that is very dangerous at 10-6 and will be a tough out come tourney time....

I watched Fairland at the Big E Classic & vs Athens & there is no doubt they are one of the best teams around. But you have to understand where i'm coming from in trying to pick between vc & the Dragons, which is really just splitting hairs. Athens & Fairland played neck & neck the entire game & Athens even led after each of the first three quarters. Vinton on the other hand blew the doors off Athens beating them by almost 30 both times. Now, I may not be a basketball genius, but its not rocket science to see the difference in those outcomes.

Logan has beaten 2 of the top 8 teams in SE District ( Fairfield Union & Unioto) ... Logan has played a top heavy Central District schedule ... going into the game Saturday with Warren @ the Warrior Dome Logan had lost it's last 3 games by a total of 5 points (Teays Valley D1, Desales , Dublin Jerome D1) ... Tuesday night vs Marietta is a must win for Logan to continue to ride the "Central District" competition train ... at some point the close wins NEED to turn into "W's" on the handi dandy pocket schedules ... Tuesday at Jim Gym Logan has to come out on top ...Orange and Brown wrote:I'm not sure how you can have a 6-10 record and be ranked 11th.........
