oh no... grow up...everyone. each team represented seo the best they could. ya just cant have that many mistakes and beat another team. I knew they had a bunch of dings from last week and made them worse during practice. I knew this was more than likely as far as we might go. We handed the other team their points in the regulation with all of our mistakes!
It was an awesome year to follow on the web. I always knew their would be alter waiting EEEEK!!! I wish someone would emerge like our seemingly endless talent of running backs in a well rouned quarterback form that can just throw cannons on pointe...we get that, we end the cycle of having to wait til a year ending in 9 to make noise.... thanks coach lutz.. wow.. what an accomplishment. We proved once again for our size of community, we are gonna step up and emerge as the strongest bet to go the farthest and we did that again. Thanks so much to the webcast team, players, coaches, oppponents, loud mouth posters, etc, for making this fun and funny,,, until next time.... gotigersgo!!! Oh and also my facebook friends that have kids playing now.. thanks! great to know what they are doing at practice each week. Knowing they were dinged up this week, then had more odd injuries, with, preston, cramblit, and a few others really in pain after tuesdays practice, got me mentally prepared for what might happen. We actually did great if ya think of all the mistakes we caused ourselves, that gave them points.

TO my old pal tigger90, well maybe Coshocton was better than you thought or Ironton wasn't as good and that is why you were soaffraid of AMANDA-CLEARCREEK. Maybe you're just full of hot air and have very very little football insight.

Ironton very good season. Hope to meet up with you guys next year.

I know this has nothing to do with last night's game but did anyone from Ironton or Coshocton happen to find a red and green plaid blanket in the parking lot after the game? Mom had it with her and I guess she must have dropped it. It was my deceased grandmother's blanket and mom is really torn up about it.

Thanks in advance.

The Tigers I believe put the ball on the ground five times counting the pitch that went out of bounds in O.T. They also had a pick on what was a horrible pass where the QB was trying to make something happen.

Twice late in the game it looked like Ironton had 4th and less than one on their own side of the field and elected to punt with one punt being blocked.

I really thought as did most of the fams setting near me Ironton would go for it being the Redskins had a hard time stopping the run right up the gut.

It looked like 37 got in the endzone on that 4th and goal play. I think the Tigers ran to their right side five or six times in a row. On the fourt down play I really thought they would have gone to the left behind the left guard and tackle. The Skins had the right side defended really well.

Was there anyone close to that side of the goal that had a close look to that play?

Nice season Tigers take a day off and those who are not playing other sports should be ready to hit the weights.

ccfan...not to be putting anyone down...but I feel the better team didn't win tonight...however..tonight coshocton was the better team...this was Ironton's worst showing I believe of the whole year with all the fumbles and jumping offsides on third and short of the whole year...Sometimes things just don't go right...and tonight wasn't Ironton's night...when you get in the playoffs you have to play near perfect ball...in which Ironton didn't do tonight...wasn't a good night for the tigers...however..they played as hard as they could play...just didn't have much success at holding onto the ball...Great season tigers...

It was a great game and the team that took care of the ball and made the least mistakes one the game, so that being said the best team won. Ironton did everything they could to stop themselves, ( coaches and players both!) Ironton had a great year and a good run. Good luck next year.

congratulations to the coshocton redskins, nearly a mirror image of ironton , with their smashmouth game style. you guys have an excellent team. and wish you luck against kettering alter.

and congratulations to the ironton fighting tigers , amazing year, amazing playoff run, amazing players, fans, cheerleaders, band , coaches. just everybody really came together this year. for a common cause. i had a blast following the fighting tigers again this year. nothing at all, to hang your heads about. i can't wait till next year , all ready. what an amazing run. and to coach lutz, ohio's winningest high school football coach, what a stunning season, and accomplishment this year. because of you, everybody , in the state , knows where IRONTON, OHIO , is. they may say never heard of it, but they dang sure have. ytb.

"not to be putting anyone down"! Are you kidding me?? You sure didn't have a problem doing so these last few weeks and it's no suprise that your ego still won't allow you to give credit where credit it due.
You and tjhtygeverve should throw yourselves a pitty party...byot (bring your own towel)
It's one thing to dote on the Tigers, you had plenty of reason to do so, another to totally disrespect & discredit everyone else.
I saw two very good teams last night... Newark Catholic Fan is being generous on Irontons behalf, not wanting to step on too many toes. Those turnovers were as forced as they could be, for the most part. It's not as if the skins didn't try and help Ironton. Two missed fg's, bad call by the Skins in their own endzone gave Ironton the ball inside the 15 to tie the game at 14. In reality this game could have easily ended in regulation with the Skins on top by at the very least a score or two....a far cry from your 21 pt. margin of victory for the Tigers.
Your "expert" analysis on Amanda and their league clouded your perception of Coshocton, so much so, that without even seeing them play you had this game "effortlessly, in the bag".
As things played out, a wounded AC would have competed with anyone in 16... no guarantee's, but a healthy AC would have made it a different ball game all together.
Talked pregame to gracious fans from both sides. It doesn't get any better for HS football than the following that Ironton has for it's program and they've earned it over the years.
Alot of Coshocton people thanked those of us from Amanda for showing up in support and both sides offered up condolances in losing our RB to injury. That's the way fans are supposed to act....rather than giving your team a "black eye", as you have done. Might be a stretch, but Tigers90, you and your comments could very well have worked against Ironton in the form of locker room material....I personally wouldn't rule it out....
good luck next year.

There were a few more up for this one. The wheelersburg game was the biggest gate we had though.

sounds like a great game between teo great teams....
when you get this far into the play offs, you have to play your game, and make very few mistakes...sounds like that is exactly what Coshocton did..Congrats to them, and best of luck to them next week.

congrats to Ironton, on a great season.

well paladin, i was not going to say anything, but you just can't keep your trap shut.

and then there were none, and weakest region in the state, no great teams on seo. who pulled your dang chain anyway. it shows you are toyally classless. and don't belong here, for what, like the 19th time. when logan made the playoffs tiger fans were there to congratulate logan. after logan's win, we did the same, after their loss in week 2 , we were there to tell you all great year.

and you have the nerve to say the idiotic things you say. i've met nearly all the logan posters on here, and have found them to be very good people, and very interesting to talk with.

but all i can say to you is,

CHILD, PLEASE.
