Freshman

He brings a spark to the defense and although plays like a freshman occasionally, has terrific potential. I'm counting on him to be the one to replace Seaman next year, in terms of being a top scorer and go-to man. I like watching him play.
(At work....gotta make this quick!!)- I don't think with Arey only averaging 2.7pts per game right now that he will be able to "JUMP" right into Seaman's shoes. Sure I think he brings great energy to the court, but IMO, a whole lot of work would have to go into the summer for him to turn into Seaman by next year. I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW...Arey doensn't HAVE to score right now with Seaman and Justice on the court....BUT....there are tons of teams out there that have two or more people scoring 20+ pts. per game, AND have atleast a 3rd player averaging double digits. But I still think he has the ability to be a great contributor and is always fun to watch!
Don't think "cheer" said anything about jumping in. Arey needs more time, but as cheer said, he has tons of potential. From what I see, Arey doesn't have the playing time to average a lot of points at this point, especially with Justice, and Seaman, doing much of the scoring. Without Seaman next year, looks to me like he'll HAVE to join Countryman and Justice as a 'go-to' man. Like most freshmen, he has to work hard to get there, but he's got as much potential as any I've seen in a long time. Will be fun to watch this develop.
I think its premature to say Arey will play at the same level as Andrew next year, he will only be a sophomore. I do think that he plays with the same intensity and heart but it will be exciting to see him become more active in his offensive role on the team.

Is that the Myson kid....lol
lightle messed up his post and tried to talk about HIS son....but he left a space out and put myson
If it is Shanks...it is likely the younger brother of Vince Shanks who was a very good 6'5 post player for the Indians for 4 years just recently.

Re: Freshman
my fault on the spaceing we have 2 6'3 kids that are freshman BRYAN MAY center, and CHANDLER GROOMS forward, GROOMS has started almost every jv game and May starts some times. The other starter thats a freshman is COLTON LIGHTLE at point 5'6 they are all working hard and learning how to play the game on both ends. Hopefully in the next few years they can help the varsity out some.

Re: Freshman
I have seen many of the mentioned freshman play and all of them are outstanding young basketball players. In the games that I have saw this season I have been impressed with the Lands kid from Eastern and the Arey kid from Peebles. Both of which are starting and playing impactful minutes on very very good basketball teams. To be able to contribute as a freshman on teams that good is something to be commended on.
The Moore kid from Piketon may be the best athlete of the bunch.

Nick Shanks is a 7th grader but hes a dandy player I will go out on a limb here and say every one will know him very well by the time he is a sophmore. He is very skilled.

The brown kid from wellston is a good freshman. Very quick, good ballhandler, and see's the court extremely well.
