With Watson out and Garrett maybe out I think this will be an uphill battle for the Cadets.Warren might get some revenge from last season.

Warren by 15, way to much for the Cadets, they have talent at every position.

I think Zach Huck will contain Vehnam. He is 6-4 and is a great defender.Fort Frye will need to make 3's and stay out of foul trouble.Key matchup is Bates vs Cunningham last season Cunningham made 3 quick 3 pointers in the 1st and the Cadets switched Bates on AC and he failed to score the rest of the game.I think AC will try to get revenge.Fort Frye needs to make layups.I think if Gerber,Hilverding, and Kyle Brooker make 3 pointers the Cadets have a shot.

I went to the Belpre game and didn't see anyone on FF's team who looks physical enough to contain Venham.....not sure if they know just how strony Venham is......is Huck #44? also outside of Hilverding not sure they have anyone besides Bates who can shoot consistently from the outside.....

Huck is a very good defender.FF is very good at shutting down the post with helpside D.When was the last time a post player did damage on FF?Venham has never had a good game vs FF.Brooker,Gerber,Bates, and Hilverding are all good shooters.I think Warren will win.FF is still a better team then Belpre. When everyone gets healthy and the JV players get more varsity playing time they will be good. The game @ Beverly in January will be awesome when they have Garrett and Eddie Watson healthy.

This is always a good match-up, The Fort always seems to shots lights out versus the Warriors. Still got to take the Warriors at home by 8-10. The Dome will be rockin.

I agree FF will have a good season....I enjoyed watching FF run their patented offense and playing solid tough defense while Belpre was getting frustrated with their street ball style not working....FF would have won if they made their layups and free throws....good luck to FF just not against the Warriors....Warren is more talented this year and is seeking some revenge for the 2 losses last year.....but yes FF will show up and play with a lot of heart as always.....

The Warriors have lost three straight to the Cadets dating back to 2008. Hopefully this years Warriors take that personally and get a solid W tomorrow night. It's always a good win to beat a great coached and disciplined team like Fort Frye. The Warriors will have their hands full though, the Cadets dont lose two in a row very often.

Prediction...
Fort Frye 49
Warren 46

You must have not watched the same game as I did cause I saw Belpre play some pretty good defense to pull themselves out of a hole. Down 21-12 mid way thru the second quarter Belpre turned up the defensive pressure get 4 or 5 five second calls, out scoring the Cadets 35-18 the remainder of the game. Fort Frye score 18 points in 20 minuets of basketball. Fort Frye was 11-20 from the charity stripe while Belpre shot 15-26.
I GET SO TIRED JUST BECAUSE A KID HAS SOME ATHLETIC ABILITY the automatically play street ball. Belpre played just as hard on defense as Fort Frye did and was just as patient offensively. Truly the difference was 4 or 5 plays that Belpre was able to make that turned the tide of the game. Tate made a driving layup high off the glass after the Fort Frye defender had played amazing defense. Tate's athletic ability helped him finish the play. Sims gets an offensive rebound off a miss free throw on the opposite side of the lane and finishes the play for a "and 1. Again his athleticism helped him finish the play. But thats all people like you wanna give these kids credit for is their god given athletic ability The Belpre kids work just as hard as any other high school team. the stats don't lie

Give me five Brandon Fivecoait's and let's play some ball. What an all around solid ball player! Has to be a coaches dream. Points, rebounds, ball handeling, lock down defense, and most important leadership and attitude. Warren over Fort Frye by six. GO BLUE!!!

Yea and Fort Frye had to play most of the 2nd half without its top 3 scorers. They called 18 fouls on FF in the 2nd half.Belpre is the worst shooting team i have seen in awhile. Most of the Belpre points came off FF 22 turnovers and I think Dan has that fixed.FF missed 7 2nd half layups.Garrett will play but wont start.FF is has some players getting use to playing varsity ball. When they get Eddie Watson back and get fully healthy they will be hard to beat. They have alot of pure shooters.I say Warren by10 tonight.I say Warren loses at FF in january.

not real familiar with fort frye's roster but if they are like the usual tall skinny fort frye i think the warriors will be too physical for them...but then again if warren plays like they did against meigs and doesn't put a body on anybody to get a rebound fort frye will have no problems...warren-fort frye is always a good matchup and should be no different tonight in front of probably a packed gymnasium...

Fort Frye is always tall and lanky and never has problems with the Warriors. The fact that Venham is stronger is not going to mean anything cause he will have 2 people on him the whole time. One guy will be playing his front side trying to deny him the ball and someone else will be playing helpside. It will come down to if the role players like Hilverding,Brooker, and Gerber can make 3 pointers.
