4th QTR
5:31 - Oak Hill 49 - Princeton 35

61 - 42 OH up - 2:20 to play

1:00 - 63 - 42 - Oak Hill

GAME OVER - Oak Hill Academy 68 - Princeton 47

I thought this game would end up closer. Princeton - which is a real contender - hung in there for a while, but just couldn't keep up with Oak Hill

Final

Oak Hill 68
Princeton 47.

Princeton had it close until midway through the 3rd Qt. They just don't match up at all size wise with Oak Hill.

Safe Travel Home to all the participating teams and their fans who came despite a significant travel distance. Announcers are saying the crowds were great.
My guess is this tournament is getting called a huge success. THANKS to all who worked so hard to plan, promote, and execute hosting a tournament of this caliber.

They want to use this money they raised to put in a new floor, which according to Coach Lafon's message in the program, would cost $250,000. I wonder how much money they make ultimately off of this classic?

hope they had a bigger crowd then last night,if not,I cant see them making much from this.

it really surprised me,that more people did not show up for this, with Oak Hill being in it.

How could you ask for any better crowd than what was there tonight for the Oak Hill game....Princeton has a really nice team and is well coached and showed a lot of discipline and patience on offense which kept them in the game...They basically set the pace which was in their favor until they wore down and Oak Hills talent level took over, but the big difference was the big 7 footers presence in the paint..It stopped Princeton from penetrating the lane like they did in the early part of the game..They'll be tough to beat in Ohio along with Northland....

The gym was packed for the final game. Oak Hill and Princeton were both vastly better than any other teams that played tonight. At times I thought I was watching the globetrotters. Doron Lamb was unstoppable and really dictated the flow of the game. Oak Hill did an amazing job at limiting Jordan Siebert's impact the entire night. A host of, sort of, celebrities were in attendance for the conclusion of the classic: Jared Sullinger(#2 player in the nation and Ohio State recruit), JD Witherspoon( top 100 player and Ohio State recruit), Rod Strickland ( former NBA player, current Kentucky assistant coach, and Oak Hill alum), the quarterback for Marshall(cant remember his name), and a large number of scouts(Kentucky was present but Calipari did not come). The new Huntington Prep was also in attendance, scouting for future games against the two schools. An overall good night of basketball. :122245

I think if they moved this to a Friday/Saturday instead of Monday/Tuesday, the crowds would be better.

Princeton was much better than Walnut Ridge.

It wasn't a 21 point difference until the 4th quarter. It was still within reach for Princeton until a 6-0 Oak Hill run made it a 17 point difference midway through the 4th quarter.

but,IF I had bet,,I would be collecting

Glad Tobias Junior got to see a good game...any slam dunks?

For a little guy Jawan Staten was getting up, he put down a couple of two handed dunks and had one in the game. Ive never seen a vertical leap like his in person.
