And the Lancers carry that crown proudly and will defend it to the bitter end

Oh, and I can take it to, wooden. If you find it humorous that you defeated a down Fed Hock team in triple overtime for the first time in what, about 8 years, that's OK. I didn't bring up anything about your debacle against the Genuine Drafts, now did I?

No I didn't find it humorous when we won that game. I thought both teams played hard. I thought it was humorous that you would start taking shots at us when you are in the same boat we are. I hope our players think they can win if not why play?

Bottom Line....neither Southern nor South Gallia will be winning any titles anytime soon...

I would guess that over the course of 10 years - if the Hocking stays at 9 teams for that long - you will see something like this.....

Trimble - 3 championships
Wahama - 3 championships
Belpre - 2 championships
Waterford - 1 championship

Everyone else will fight for the remaining one championship.

This is assuming there is only one champion, and not co-champions any season. Co-championships could add 1 more title to the totals above.

Alice you need to wake up the entire Hocking is weak not one team made the playoffs. When the best record is 6-4 that is weak for the conference. What is funny people keep making fun of the few teams they beat. That kind of cheapens your wins.

Looks like John boy hasn't read the new rule about misquoting people. Or maybe he has and he just feels like he needs a vacation from SEOPS?

As long as these kids are in open gym and playing baseball, we can go 0-10 every year and the oldtimers at Slims will be happy. Cant wait to go to the bartber shop tomorrow and bask in the glow of a win over trimble....

Best wishes Chucky....are you coaching this year? Keep up that class of 82 pride...

It is funny that when you put a poll question on here it is supposed to be about who you THINK will win..... Instead, people just vote on WHERE they live

How could you look at the league logically and NOT think that Trimble will win it?

They are solid every year... Nobody in the league was able to put much of a game together against the Tomcats last year... And Trimble returns virtually everyone next season.

Hands down, Trimble will be the favorite until someone can knock them from the top......

I don't see that happening next year ;-)

What, no votes for Miller? Haha. I remember goin to watch Maysville when they opened with Miller three or four years ago, when the ball was kicked off it was like a bomb went off. scored like the first five times they touched the ball and won 50 something to zero. That was the only game Maysville won all year. We in MVL land would like to permanently loan Crooksville to you, free of charge as they do nothing for us in regard to both competition and playoff points. They need to be in a small school league.

Crooksville would dominate the TVC in football. Ohio or Hocking take your pick.

It will be interesting to see if Belpre can resurrect their program. They put together a nice run a couple of seasons ago, but then seemed to fall back to mediocrity the last couple of years.

It is still hard for me not to see Belpre as an absolute BEAST of the TVC.... But I guess that has been a long time ago now. Perhaps going down to the Hocking will allow them to win a few more league games, and eventually become more solid and more competitive overall.

If Belpre can turn things around, they could create a nice rivalry with Trimble and Wahama. That could be a really good thing for the entire league. You throw in the times when Waterford, Fed Hock, or Eastern makes a title run, and you have a much more entertaining league for the average fan in the area.

Miller may not be a winning program and at the bottom of the Hocking but why is it that just about every post from you has to tell us how awful Miller is? There are not many on this site from Miller and those that are I don't here running their trap about anything related to how "we should have won this" and " we got screwed on that" or "wait till next year". Maybe we should leave the bashing of teams to those who are better than they think they are. And with no votes for Miller that should tell most people that no one thinks they will win the Hocking so I am not sure what point you are trying to make with the Maysville blow out statement.

I am sick of hearing the crap about how bad Miller is from you to. I have family who play sports there and they work as hard as they can. Why don't you worry about the MVL and leave the TVC alone.

I think that Trimble is the favorite to win the league again. We will have to wait and see what Wahama has but nobody else has a Dyla or the line that Trimble has. Belpre will be interesting but I think they are a year or so away. Eastern doesn't get the boys out anymore and Fed Hock is a mystery every year. No offense to the other schools but they have no chance of winning the Hocking Div.
