1. Vinton, 2. Fairfield, 3. Warren, 4. Sheridan, 5. Logan Elm, courtesy of 93Bulldog ;) , 6. Athens, 7. Meigs, 8. Marietta, 9. New Lex

This whole thing could look a lot different by next weekend, especially if Vinton loses a game. 5-9 is already draw straws.

Court case Bman vs 93Bulldog 2014, LE can't be ahead of Athens

93Bulldog said he wants Warren. You may need to have a conference of Athens followers to overrule him. ;)

I'll have to ask Gibson at the OU game. He would have the executive powers

Warren could be 0-22, they would still shoot the lights out against Athens in the tournament

According to the 2014 ruling, raider is right. LE cant be above Athens ... but ... Trump is president, so anything is possible.

Was it 13-14 where LE was the 1, then Warren obliterated Athens and then LE smoked Warren in the Finals? I'm pretty sure those threads were the Golden Age of SEOPreps lol

I'm guessing we "should" play Sheridan. They actually have a really good site: http://www.sheridanbasketball.com/ClubS ... ubId=55913&

Sheridan looks like they have a lot of size

I could make a case for reversing Warren and Fairfield, but otherwise it looks good.

That could be a good argument. FU's problem is Warren beat Logan and FU lost to Logan.

Going to be some good basketball at the Logan Sectional. The Logan loss may hurt FU. It's only one game but it's a good argument. VC plays at River Valley, home against Alexander and at Logan next Saturday. Not sure if the votes will be in before the Logan game. The Alexander game is a rematch for the one loss VC has on the year.

Votes have to be in friday feb 10th at midnight. My guess, some coaches with road games friday night may fill out their ballots even before the games on the 10th. Not a big fan of this system.

I have absolutely no argument to make this year and really don't think it would help anyway with the depth of the sectional. ;)

Even if VC gets the one and would play a subpar game in a sectional final (not saying they will, just using the 1 vs. 8/9 example), they could even be in trouble. One of the better sectionals we've seen in awhile from top-to-bottom. Even some of the inconsistent teams, like Athens and LE, have a primetime scorer and if the other kids are scoring, as well, then watch out.

As good as 4-9 are, the top three are REALLY, REALLY good - which makes the dynamic even more complicated. If this was just another year at the top, you could have seen two, maybe even three lower seeds advance. But given how good vc, warren & fu are, I just dont know if its possible.

Unless we have (3) Warren vs (6) Athens. Then that top three is blown up!

Going to be some great games in this sectional. All teams better have the A game rolling. A sub par game will probably send you home from top to bottom.
