Final: Portsmouth 64 @ Wheelersburg 60 on 12/15/09
Re: Portsmouth @ Wheelersburg 12/15
I for one, think, the Trojans are capable,of beating any team on their schedule, they just have to get it together.
Im sure Dave ,and a lot of others would agree with me.

Upset would be great for the SEOAL..however, I think Burg is a better team..
Re: Portsmouth @ Wheelersburg 12/15
I dont know if Burg learned anything last game vs NW other than never give up. It wasnt a Barick game to any extent. Holding NW to zero points in a quarter doesnt meen squat playing at Ptown! But it may.... The nagain, they couldnt stop NW in the third!
Defense does win championships but a good ol offensive butt whoopin can be the same. Good luck to both teams!

Portsmouth is not very good and Burg is a shadow of what it could have been but Burg should win fairly easily.

We'll save you a seat on visitors side on the 50 yard line at Pirate Stadium, then. Be there around 6:30 or so this evening....

Let me see, that gym was built in what, the 20's or 30's? Those gyms were the style back then. Schools were able to save alot of room by having the gym and the stage in the same area. I do believe the times have changed.
Burg's gym is alot better for the visitors now than the old gym was, plain and simple. Not good business IMO to take away seats from your home crowd. People showed up once, seen that if you didn't have a reserved seat or get there 30 minutes before the gates open you won't get a seat, so they went the one time and then didn't come back.
Like I said up above, I don't know why they don't make the one end on the visitors side a home section.
Won't happen though, so will just have to deal with it.

Wheelersburgs new gym is better than the old one but it still isn't great. they put the visitors student section way back in the back of the most back corners they could find and burgs student section is right behind one of the backboards.

Re: Portsmouth @ Wheelersburg 12/15
End of 1st quarter
Wheelersburg 12
Portsmouth 12
Roger Gray just said Burleson got the rebound. Is there a Burleson on Portsmouth or is Roger just losing it and thinking of Andrew Burleson?
