Re: Clay at Western
If Clay keeps turning the ball over 25+ times a game then they are in for a long season. They have some talent and all the pieces for a good team but until they fix some problems I'll have to take Western in this one by 5.
Re: Clay at Western
Western will play harder than Clay and will get their first win. They have lost to three good teams in Manchester, who beat Ironton at Ironton last night, Eastern Pike, and Symmes Valley, and all of those have been on the road.
Re: Clay at Western
It is hard to predict. Hopefully Clay will play some "Zone" and the coach will let some of the players get a rhythm going and quit subbing constantly. That would drive me crazy! This should cut down on turnovers. Then, the big guys need to stay strong and the guards need to settle down and relax some. Someone mentioned warming up shooting at half time. C'mon players who read this...... Remind your coach that you need to get out there and take some shots after half time! I pick Clay to win , If they can get some of these problems addressed. If not, I choose Western.
