We were talking about the 3 t's for dunking in warmups the other day. My dad was on that team you can guess who that is by my username. He couldn't remember how many it was exactly, but he did say they started a game with some t's.

your dad is correct about the warmup t. the only t that happen in warmup was in 72 by c.kremin. there was no other's. if i recall copley was very upset and it never happen again when officials were present. i know your dad, how is he doing? oh and by the there was not a dunk in 78 against latham, not that it matters any. it was just a high lay up. they can call that a dunk if they want!

Not a dunk in 1978? First I've heard of that.

sorry, but it wasn't a dunk. things sometimes get blown out when you talk basketball. you did a good job with your stats on peebles. some of the stats are real accurate and some are just close. overall it is pretty good. you really need to update your stats to include the 2000 and up. some of our past players will have to take a back seat to them.

Hate to have to correct you "luvit" but Dave Singer most certainly did dunk one at Western Latham in 1978, I was there sitting in the front row when he stole a pass up top, broke away from the pack and slammed it down! Even the Latham fans stood up and gave him a standing ovation! Singer's dunk was no different then Seaman's two dunks he's gotten this year and I don't think anyone would be calling them just "high lay ups!"

no need to correct me. i was also there and on the top row and he barely got his hand to the rim! latham people did not stand and applaud either. sorry fellow , but seaman broke his wrist down and put it through on both dunks, it wasn't a" high lay up ". maybe it is the difference between what you call a dunk and what i do. no big deal.

I guess it is just the difference in what you call a dunk and what I call a dunk and since your the first and ONLY person I've ever heard call it not a dunk I guess we can tell which one has a different opinion then everybody else! I guess maybe those Latham fans were just standing up so they could see it better, (not sure why they were clapping tho?) :aaaaa46 :aaaaa32

look fellow, boy, girl, or whatever. if you want to call that a dunk, then call it that. it really dosen't matter. as far as the latham crowd clapping, " and i must have blinked when they did" it was probably because he didn't achieve his dunk. you must have been the ONLY one to call it that. :122249

Somehow luvit, I seriously doubt you were there, I'd about guarantee it. You have a serious ax to grind for whatever reason. On everypost on here that even relates to Peebles you have something negative to say and can't seem to stand to see anyone accomplish anything. You either must have been a bench rider or played with some good players and didn't get enough of your own glory. Either way, you certainly aren't a Peebles fan.

stats on the website aren't current, but they are compiled. They're just not typed yet. One notable player missing is Michael Cheesbro, a four-year varsity player with more than 1200 points.

I'm sorry the site isn't updated. I have failed you all.

After the Latham game, Latham's coach told Dave that was the first time he'd been beat by one shot in the 3rd quarter, because the dunk so rattled the players it led to a couple turnovers. So unless EVERYONE has been wrong about this for THIRTY years, it was a dunk. I was -2 years old at the time, however.

Do you guys do the stats for the whole county?
I remember a game several years back with Manchester and i think South Webster(not positive)played and anyway there was a player from Manchester that could really shoot. Palmer rings a bell, but I'm not sure. Isn't something how a good shooter stands out in your mind?

nah, not for the whole county.

yeah, a really good shooting performance can stick with you years later. I remember seth myers against eastern brown in 1997, and blake's first game, also against eastern brown when he poured in 46.
