No word on Caleb... Don't see him being there....
Waverly played many combinations so really never saw much out of the PG.

It sounds like it will be a pretty good match up...

Waverly final was 66-33
Martin with 21, Kretzer 15, Roback 12, Malone 6, Kelly & Remy 4 each, Johnston and Hensley 2 each. Was not a great outing by the Tigers but they did what they had to do.

The Championship game will be a very interesting match-up.
I don't think Waverly can expect to run with the Streaks and come out on top.

Great crowd bu it thinned out pretty quick.

SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE:
There is raffle going on through Wednesday night with ALL proceeds going to the family of Josh Horineck, a 2009 Western High School graduate killed in an auto accident this month.
The raffle costs $5.00 with the winner getting two tickets to the Ohio State vs Michigan basketball game. Win or not, you are supporting a great cause.

Here is a good recipe as well:
OWL CREEK SPECIAL CROW CASSEROLE
1/2 dozen crow breasts
1 qt. sauerkraut
1/2 dozen strips bacon
1/3 c. chopped onion
In skillet brown the crow breasts, then place them on a 1 1/2" layer of sauerkraut in bottom of a casserole. Cover each piece of meat with a strip of bacon and sprinkle the onion over them. Cover the breast with another layer of sauerkraut and pour sauerkraut juice over it. Bake two hours in oven heated to 350 degrees.

Congrats to Piketon on the victory!

LOL pretty funny hoggy! eastern has a pretty good team, so dont eat to much crow they are quick and play a tough man to man but piketons bench and James Lewis was just more than they could handle should be a good year for eastern fans to enjoy.

He normally doesn't start. He is the sixth man but tonight in replace of Southworth made everyone take notice.
Great game by he and Frosh Kraigen Moore.

I'm man enough to eat my crow as well! Congrats to the Streaks on a well deserved win. You are the cream of the SVC and are going to dominate the league this season. To the Eagles, you can't hang your heads long. You better bring it or Western will take you down.

Good luck to all teams from here on out.

Waverly/Piketon game should be interesting...

I don't think anyone will be questioning Piketon's #2 ranking in Southern Ohio after tonight. They're that good. I was very impressed with Piketon's overall team speed. Fast, fast, fast........James Lewis....what a game!

Waverly will have their hands full come Wednesday.

Bengalfan76, that is what makes the tourney what it is! I don't blame you one bit partner.....you know it would have came back at you in full force if it was reversed. Sure, we are going to hassle one another, but it hasn't been taken to the level of unacceptable and was in very good taste. Congrats...the Eagles will soar again! LOL

Oh yeah, thank you everyone for keeping this thread sensible and good natured.

Well, I can't run the chances of eating any more Crow, I nearly choked to death on the feathers. I am scared to make any predictions on tomorrow's games.

Championship Game: Piketon vs Waverly

Consolation Game: Eastern vs Western

Who will be crowned Pike County Champs and how will the SOC I schools place?
