Ill agree with you on some stuff, but theres a few things ill disagree with you...first of all West runs a 5-2 defense, they mixed people around last year, because they were trying to find an identity...I think Locher will be a safety and Caudill will be a d end

I think the people will be surprised with the starters next year. The Coaching staff moved alot of kids around and this will pay off for them this year.

The Defense will be much better this will be a main focus area this year and will be the main thing that will setup their Offense.

What about the Carnes kid? From what I was told he would've played alot, possibly starting at DE if he hadn't got hurt this year.

Should be one if not the deepest team we've had in years. I think it would pay dividends not only this year, but in the future to platoon more. I think we have the depth to do it in several positions.

Team really needs to develop leadership. Seniors have to be leaders, as they know their is no next year. Last years team really suffered from few seniors and little leadership. I think this year will be alot different.

Agenda #1 If you don't play my boy, I will get you fired, period! He was a clone of another parent who chased down not one, but two coaches to punch them out. Yes, it would be a great idea to attend that meeting, but if it goes to "executive session" without an alternative point of view, Triplett will be out so one, or two "All-Stars" can play!

This school board memeber has been a problem for a long time before he was elected to the school board. He has many times confronted the Coach and his staff about his two sons and their playing time.

West fans if you think you can find a better Coach and Staff and have at it. Becuase for one you have the lowest paid Coaching staffs in the area but for the dollars you are spending you have the best in the area. BY the way where was the program 3 years agao think about it.

That maybe true about a parent chasing the coach down but I remember a parent who after running his mouth having to run to his car. Before Coach T was able to get to him. That was a parent who ran his mouth about Coach T not playing his boy in a game. What the parent did not know was that his son didn't even make it to the game.

Earn the right to play by what a player does on the field. If parents want their kids to play by force buy them a good tv and the Madden game so they can look good at home.

Some of the West parents never seas to amaze me, lets run the best coach we have had in the last 15 years out because my son doesn't play QB. I agree that Coach T's play calling gets a little old sometimes but that can be fixed. Lets look at the real picture! He does a good job of getting the kids in the weight room year round and staying out of trouble. He is probably one of the most disciplined coaches I can ever remember seeing in high school sports and the players show it on the field. Not just anyone can come in and get that kind of respect from KIDS, especially ones from the West Side. Some people need to GROW UP and realize that high school sports are about instilling a sense of discipline and responsibility in KIDS that they will use all through life, NOT my kids going to the pros!!!

I think there might of been a lot more made of trying to oust Coach Triplett than what it really was...especially about one certain school board member, I know that member, and know he has had disagreements with things Triplett has done, but I honestly doubt he would pursue getting him fired, I think that was a lot more of a few West fans and a lot less of the school board...now I could be wrong, this is my opinion, however I do know that there was a lot of trouble about this situation...

I also believe a lot of the critics will be silenced next year, I think West wll be very good...Now granted there will be people that will unhappy if West doesn't win state, and probably even some would unhappy about something Triplett did or didn't do if they won state. Am I saying this team is State-Caliber, who knows? They have the talent and experience to win a lot of ball games, they just need to play four quarters of football, even last year they were two points from beating Portsmouth and a meltdown away from beating Valley and being a playoff team...Now I don't think this team will be necessarily be great, but they will be very very good, and potientally could be great...they are disiplinced enough, something Triplett has instilled, but can they break down the mental barriers? I think they will

I hear that the way Coach T places starters on the field is like this, If you feel that you are better than a certain kid you can challenge him in practice. If you beat him you get the spot until you are beat out. How much more fair can you get? Parents will never change. It is down right embarrassing sometimes the way some think out loud. Football takes individual effort by all to come together as a team. If there is a weak link it has to be fixed. Sorry if your kid doesn't play enough there are plenty of other schools in the area to choose from. These people need to watch the movie Rudy. I hate Notre Dame but it is still a great movie. When you watch these future teams that I hope Coach T has the reigns of notice the control he has over his players. Attitude reflects leadership. He is old school and you couldn not ask for a better fit.

I think alot of the guy and I'm glad he's gonna be here a while. I think he's a great fit. I've been told good things about the workouts. The linemen are in there lifting some very impressive numbers. I like there attitudes also. You always see the boys together. I think it's gonna be a special run here for West.
