I have saw them both play, the games I saw Chesapeake play they played a pressure defense and ran the floor. I like that style of ball and I think that is a style that wins come tournament time, they also have a great shooter in Copely. I am saying when they are on I think they are the best team in sectional including Oak Hill. If they don't bring their A-game, then I think there is alot of teams in this sectional that could beat them. I am not downing Portsmouth, I just think Peake is better. I think Portsmouth is all time best basketball school in southeastern Ohio. I think your new coach has done a great job turning Portsmouth around. I saw them play back in the summer and I would have never thought they would be this good. They have won some tuff games against some good teams, they should be proud of what they have done so far this season. Good luck to both teams in the tournament.

Does it honestly matter what seed somebody gets
here is my take on this whole thing.
If team B is "the best team" but got a 3 or 4 seed, then they will show they are the best team by making it out of the bracket.
I do not see where the big deal is from a 3 seed to a 5 seed, you will end up playing the best team one point or another.
Go show you are the best team early and turn some heads

Compare the routes to the regionals of #1 Peebles and #3 Eastern Brown.....#3 is way easier.

I was surprised to see the Trojans get a #5 seed.......there's no question in my mind that when we are on our game, we can beat anybody in the D3 field.......but starting out with Valley will be a tough test for Portsmouth.......the Indians have quality wins over Washington Court House, South Point, and South Webster, and have done well in the SOC.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the D3 regional champion comes out of the Jackson sectional.

I would not say that Portsmouth is the underdog. The 2 teams you are referring to were lost early in the season without Horne and McKinley. Those two teams would not win if they played again. That being said, Valley is deserving of the #4 seed, they won some good games this year. Should be a good game, each team having a good shot at Peebles.

Easily the most comical (non-KantuckyII) post of all time. Did McKinley or Horne play in those early season losses? Portsmouth is an all star team. I agree with Trojan Dave. Portsmouth could very well beat any team in the D3 region. They are that good.

facts are facts, we lost to 2 of them teams, ,,,,we did not even have a lead in either game...some of you same people was on other treads, saying DONT MAKE EXCUSES, everyone has to play with what they have at the time,,,,and no one can say for sure we would have won either game, with Horne or Mckinley.

not sure why you found the reason to mention KantuckyII..
