Sophomore Grant Thompson — a member of the Wellston varsity football, boys basketball and baseball teams — was badly injured in a sleigh riding accident tonight in Wellston in which he was struck by a car.

He is in hospital and his condition is critical as of now. I understand he was lifeflighted.

Thoughts and prayers are certainly with Grant and his family. His mother, Cindy Graham, is the Wellston High School cheerleading advisor and his sister Ciara plays varsity softball at Wellston
