I'm not sure about Mondays games but Tuesdays: Clay beats Eastern and Rock Hill beats Wellston. 5th grade game wasn't over when I left but Minford 5 was winning at the time.

Waiting on confirmation from Green, Jackson, and Valley
Assuming the three listed above confirm with me tonight, we will be full, however, if any other teams are interested we will expand and add you to the tournament. We are going to have a pool play set-up then have a single elimination tournament following which will guarantee every team at least four games.

Minford 17 I thought the Pool A teams were going to play the teams in Pool B in the single elimination. Like all Pool play tournaments are done but I guess we are playing the same teams that we played all week.

I have never seen pool play this way. Pool A 1 seed should play pool B 4th seed and so forth. I'm with one of the lower brackets so it really won't affect our team, but it looks to me the two best team will definately not meet in the championship game.

Wasn't thrilled about our game being changed from Friday night to Saturday morning but that's what happens when you go to these tournaments. We will show up and play and that's life. Good luck to all.

I agree softball 10. I spoke with Minford 17 and he said he tried to tell the Minford coach that it should be Pool A against Pool B. The Minford coach said he had complaints that it was not posted that way on here. The coaches I talked to want it to be done Pool A vs. Pool B.

Also, wondering if Hughes and Tobias Jr will be playing with Portsmouth? I noticed that they weren't available during the Valley tourney last week and hadn't heard if they would be playing in our tourney next week or not.

I will have the brackets posted tomorrow. Had some teams back out of the 3rd Grade tourney and trying to fill at least the fourth spot. Otherwise, we may have to combine the two age levels. The three teams that are in are solid and should be able to compete with the majority of the 4th Grade teams, but I'd prefer to have two seperate age brackets.
