Peebles hosts North Adams 1/15

Post by peeblesfan97 »

Records asside this will be one heck of a game, and maybe a chance for Peebles to beat N.A. two times in one season, which hasn't happened in a long long time.

Jcchitwood, did I notice a hint of sarcasm in your reply because I doubt that game slipped your mind since you probably will throw us some Peebles -vs- N.A. stats in the next day or so. I will be looking forward to it so hurry up.

I have no stats handy, but I'll post a section from the documentary about North Adams later this week.

Last time NA came out fired up after their Manchester win, and it showed by the score at the end of the first quarter. And maybe some of our kids, after losing to NORTH ADAMS so much over the years, started off intimidated. (maybe not--I'm guessing). Then reality caught up to both teams and the Indians broke it open by 20+.

I look for Peebles to rebound after a poor Manchester performance, and they'll come in focused and ready to play like a #1 team. Peebles by 20+, 40+ if Blake gets hot.

I want a Peebles win, regardless of the point margin! I think they'll get the job done.

I agree jchitwood, we have won the last two game and not shot the ball as good as we can. If justice gets hot we can beat anyone, and what a better time than at home -vs- North Adams. I would say Peebles by 30. I am sure it will be a packed house by the way does anyone know if there is a Freshman game.

Before this season, when was the last time Peebles beat NA? 2002 sounds right, but I'm not sure...

Peebles should win this game. I doubt it will be by 30-40 points but it wouldn't surprise me to see a 20-25 point spread. Also wouldn't surprise me if the game was close. As I've said in other threads if Louden and Dollich take the ball to the rim they will be more successful that trying to get perimeter shots.

Tonight I'll post a section from the documentary about North Adams. It's not too in-depth, but it's fun to watch.

Good point "Boomer" anytime you play North Adams you can expect a well coached bunch of boys who will fight you tooth and nail. Just hope we bring our "A" perimeter game tomarrow if so i that might translate into a convincing victory.

Come out strong boys, nothing will be sweeter than beating NA on our home court. Hopefully we are firing on all cylinders. Good luck Indians!

Not even a deep tournament run?

Well we're not really thinking that far ahead yet, boomer633. The tourney doesn't start tomorrow, but the North Adams game does. All our focus is on this week. We just have to, you know, play one game at a time, go out there, give 110%, make some buckets, prevent the other team from making buckets, and god willing we'll score a higher combination of field goals, foul shots and three pointers than the other team and really bring home a good victory to all our fans out there, and our hometown. :-D

Hear hear, Jimmy. We need to take care of what's right in front of us. Where did "not even a deep tournament run" even come from.......? Guess I'm just not understandin' that train of thought.
