Great effort again by the Warriors. Grant Venham was unstoppable in the first half and Brandon Fivecoait once again shut down Markie Tate. It was fun to watch.

Great Game and effort by both Warren Squads tonite. JV's had to battle all nite long. Belpre Reserves just wouldn't quit. They are much improved from the start of the season. Dakota, D.J. and Drew, the three D-megos were driving the lane all nite causing the defense to colapse then kicking out and were hitting the 3's to stay within reach, but great hustle by Austin Henthorn and great defensive stops by Landon kern and company were big at times. They are a treat to watch for a warm-up game before the Varsity. U have to come early for Tuesdays nite match-up with Marietta. It will be good. **Varsity, Great game. Good offense and Great defense. Reggie is going to get his, but they had no answer for Mr Grant Venham. Nobody has lately. Boyz, keep stepping it up and getting better every game. We have a big one with Marietta on Tuesday. Don't look no futher ahead. One game at a time!! Be their and be early. See ya.......................Go WARRIORS!
Re: Belpre at Warren: Thoughts anyone?
Nice job by the Warriors. Best of luck to Belpre the rest of the way.
Lets get ready for Marietta...GO BLUE!!!

sportsfan i agree...the jv game was definitly a good warm up game for the varsity...not sure you can give the TRUE Blue award to a jv player but if you can its going to be a tight race between austin and landon...i think that was the award i was most proud of in highschool, although i think my body is starting to remind me that i was on the floor that much too...i love to see the hustle out of these kids...i heard someone say austin is on the floor more than he is standing up...i think that is a compliment because it shows that everyone is noticing his hustle...it was great to see the same intensity two games in a row for the varsity...grant had a good game but missed some foul shots and a few bunnies..which i will have him working on...little johnny had a great game as well...ellenwood and fivecoait played well..but they don't show defensive stops in the paper and that was a huge part of their game lastnight...i really liked seeing langs defensive pressure as well and him penatrating a little more on the offensive side of court...Jace if you cant beat them join them...definitly glad you are part of the team and you contribute a lot more than you probably think...i can't wait to see you come in because i know for a fact that a cutter is definitly going to get "bumped"...they always need a little forearm to the chest to slow them down...i thought hilvy got some good quality minutes in as well...it is important to have someone that can come in and handle the ball to give the rest of the guards a little breather...keep up the hard work boys season is half way over so now its time to play your way to the convo...

Re: Belpre at Warren: Thoughts anyone?
Sounds like the Little Johnnys are on that roll over the 3 non-elite teams- sorry I couldnt make it to the great Rivalry, it was my first game I couldnt make, actually figured it was gonna be much of the same...same production on offense with same non-weapons. Glad the team is getting some confidence...but convo talk is a little premature.
Until the Ironton-Jackson-Chili-games are over, still not convinced at all that Warrior team is close to being competitive. But atleast they are keeping everyone happy and thats all that matters at Warren...Its not getting stronger and going far, its keeping all the Little Johnnys happy and guessing what the next move is...Headgames!
But I will make the Marietta contest just to see that Great Jv matchup....Now that will be worth my free pass! So
The sun comes out tmrw

Warrior cc -- U weren't missed at the Belpre Game. We did just fine without U. HaHa !!! Same Production Same Non Weapons, U can not have Seven G. Venhams or Little Johnnys on one team. Not in the Warren Local area. This is not a pick your prep school, Dumb A$$. Each kid has their special roles on the team and Coach Maddox knows them well. As far as what you know is didley squat. I can tell by all of your posts. You sound like an old man with not alot of friends. Am I right?
After u come and watch that great JV matchup with Marietta, u otta go home with your negitave attitude and get some rest. Warrior Nation doesn't need or want your two cents worth. We'll do just fine without u. The sun is supposed to be out tmrw.

sportsfan...im going to have to agree with you again...warrior cc must feel really good about themself to be able to talk about 16, 17, and 18 year olds like that...i mean im consider myself a grown man but im not sure im as tough as CC because i dont think i could talk about teenagers like that...it must take a real grown up to be able to do that and im just not there yeat...maybe when i get some years expeience in the stands i will be able to know everything about basketball and run my mouth and never admit to who i am...i cant wait to be that grown up...

AMEN! Sportsfan, Amen...c c, you are such a horrible example of a "warrior" fan. The only person who cares if you come to another warrior game is...well crap I can't think of anybody. Its freakin high school basketball, nobody wants ur negative input on teenagers tryin to have fun doing something they love, and they only get that chance for four years, and for u to put them down individually in anyway is just wrong(they read this stuff you know). So I think I can speak for most of the warrior posters on here, just sit down and shut up. Its getting old

Warrior CC.....Dude, when you stop at Whiteoak Pharmacy to get your medicine and your DEPENDS undergarment, why dont you forget your way to Warren High School and mosey right on up 339 to Wildcat or Cadet Country and see if you can help their program out, sounds like they could use a good man like you. Or even better yet, I will bet ya that We kick Mariettas butt in both games and loser has to never post again...Deal Mr sunshine?

Re: Belpre at Warren: Thoughts anyone?
boi get off his @$$ people the kids dont even care what he says if anything it makes the kids wanna work harder to be good enough to meet his standards hes not trying to hurt any feeling but sometimes it happens.
Re: Belpre at Warren: Thoughts anyone?
SFANL, way to say it man I'm with you. As for the kids working hard enough to meet the standards of a poster on SEOPS thats crazy. These kids ought to be working hard for themselves and the team no one else matters. Great effort against Belpre, if there is one thing Warren needs to do better it is make your free throws a little extra work on this will pay dividends later on in the season against better teams. Now bring on the Tigers.
Re: Belpre at Warren: Thoughts anyone?
warren 44 are u serious?...im not sure i know many adults that could handle all the negative stuff he as said let alone teenagers...they may act like it don't bother them but i know for a fact that it is in the back of their mind when they are playing....the gym is going to start looking like a petting zoo before too long...you got 3 zebras, supposedly only 2 horses,...and one @$$..(thats you C C)
