I do give Coach T credit. He has made some changes in the past few games. One is they are playing some zone defense (almost 50-50 last game). He had said for the past 2 years that zone defense is weak and they never used it and got killed trying to play man to man all the time. He has changed the press break and TO's have gone from 30+ to around 15. He has gone away from the 1 on 5 dribble drive offense.
You also have to consider that Clay's 5 losses came against Northwest, Minford, South Webster, Eastern and Western. They should have won the Western game should beat them at home, the other games were tough teams to beat with all but Eastern being SOC II schools.
This season will be much better than last years and next years senior loaded team will be the team to beat.

In his defense, the boy that took the shot the other night at the end of the game was told only to take wide open lay ups. When he first caught the ball he was open, he lost the handle on it, then dribbled it, then missed the shot under pressure.
Your right, it will cost them a game, but I think if he would have shot when he first recieved the pass it would have been a good open shot.

Play hard and play smart against NB friday and they will have #5 in a row.
