Don't count the SHL out in this race. While you (in osufball21's opinion) may have the best ovc player in Prater, it should be a great match-up. Peebles has two, maybe even three, if you include Collier, of the best players in the SHL. Will be interesting to see how big the Indians play. I'm hoping they put the SHL back in the faces of the ovc and svc so they know the SHL is a force to be reckoned with! I get tired of the snubbed noses.....

Good big men present problems for Peebles inside, case in point the Blevins boy from a good Manchester team had his way with Peebles but still lost in a tight game. One player should not make the difference with the outside offensive firepower of Peebles.

If this game is played at a fast pace than i like the Indians by 8.If it is a slow down half court game than i dont like our chances.Peebles will step up and find a way to win!

Prater in my opinion is the best player in the OVC too...but the pointers have very many weapons...Barnes is probably the best overall guard in the ovc and i would have to say that Bruton, Button, and Prater are 3 of the top 5 best defensive players in the ovc...this should be a great game to watch and will be very competitive...i think that the pointers size and overall ability will be too much for Peebles...pointers by 10

Peebles does struggle a little defending bigger teams, however if they are making the 3's like they can then they are a hard team to stop. Don't count out Collier he has the ability to play against guys taller than him because of his toughness and quickness. I think it depends on which peebles shooters show up. Although im just speaking from the experience of getting to play a little bit against them before the season started and I have never seen the south point team play.

Collier can get it done against guys much bigger than him. He completely took Chamberlin out of the game when we played Zane Trace, he just didnt show up in the first half of the Manchester game. I expect South Point to get out to an early advantage(Peebles has been notorious for sluggish first halves this season) but I will take the Indians by 5 due to a slight comeback in the second half.

Collier is the biggest little post player in our league. When I heard he was playing post I was skeptical, but he's good off the pivot and jumps like a deer. He may be built like a small forward, but he gets it done in the middle.

From the sounds of it if the pointers can defend the arc they should be just fine. Interesting fact on that point is that Manchester only shot 1 three all night from what i was told, so the pointers may not be ready to defend it. With that being said, SP has very quick guards that have the ability to defend if they arent lazy. I think if the Barnes kid can control the game and not try to take over and lets the game come to him the pointers win by 6-8.

Peebles fans, how is the Justice kid doing this season? all the talk on this thread is about the collier kid

Blake is doing very good this season. He is averaging around 25pts a game. He needs 18 for 1300 career points.

hmm, my bad. South Point is a decently sized school I kind of figured they would have a team.
