I also thought it was a heck of a game for both teams..! Just because it is low scoring doesn't make it a bad game.. I even think Valley was almost 60% from the 3 point line.. Thats really good.! Waverly had no turnovers in the second half and went 12/15 from the line, thats a big turn around for the Tigers!! Now Get ready for Burg on Tuesday im sure they are hungry for an upset and that's another hard place to win.!! Keep Making them FOUL shots Tigers!!!

For all of us that were at the game, did we witness the worst call of the year?
Waverly had three fouls to give with about 2 minutes to go in the game. Utley was dribbling at the top of the key when the Waverly player purposely fouled him to keep him from getting a three off. He commits the foul, Utley then takes a step, throws the ball up and gets three foul shots. There is a science to the game, I guess the ref never read that chapter.

Valley played hard and didn't play a bad basketball game, but Waverly is a darn good team with athletes that Valley can't matchup with... It was a fun ball game to watch, and I was impressed with the defensive effort by both clubs. There was no such thing as an easy bucket last night. Great atmosphere last night... I walked in at tip off and you could feel the electricity in the gym. I don't really miss playing the game, but the energy gave me cold chills and brought back some memories.

It's amazing how close the final was to round one (58-44). Waverly scored 4 less on the road and Valley only scored 2 more at home, 54-46.
