Big rivalry game this Friday night at Valhalla. Can the Viking squad keep their domination of the Golden Rockets going? Wellston has to be fired up after comming within a point of beating a solid Jackson team. This is one of those games that bring out a packed house with lots of fan support for both teams.
Vinton County cannot afford to let up now if they want to keep pace, with Athens, for the TVC crown.

Prediction: Vinton County will dominate on rebounds and steals.

Should be a good opportunity for VC to rest some starters before the big matchup against Logan Saturday night. Wellston is VERY young and will be back to the upper half of the TVC in just a couple years. Wellston did play Jackson tough, and this year has been very weird as upsets have happened seems like each week. I just dont see it this Friday.

Wait I remember a few years ago when VC was 19-0 they had a game with SE they needed to make up but wouldnt play them but played a school with 2 8th graders and a girl. Also im pretty sure Dayton Jefferson makes up for Hannan.

I really thout vc would beat them by 30 I am a little disappointed I took a vacation day today to watch this game. It was the first time in years that I went to a game maybe since that younger caudill boy. I did not like it when derrow hug and talked to that little kid from mcartur maybe he was trying to recruit him. Went to jacks after the game, last time I was in there it was chances r and some girl was dancin on a table and some prater were fighting. What is up with that prater on the wellston team he had to know that he would never win a championship down there should have just stay hear in vc , I hope the next time the vikings. Beat em bad.

The last Wellston win against VC was in the second game of the 2003-03 season. They beat us 43-42 in Wellston.

I think thats the night that the ref cheated VC and didn't care a hoot who knew it. As I remember, in the last minute of the game he called three offensive fouls against the Vikings AWAY FROM THE BALL!!!

Even his fellow officials called him aside and talked to him about his bias, but to no avail. The Vikings were not going to win that game on his watch.

I hope he no longer officiates.

Last nights game would be 13 in a row for the Vikes.
