What teams have never won a league football title in the league they are currently in. Stick to those that have been in the league for at least 5 years. Also state why you think they have never won a title. Please stick to the topic, and no mention of how this team went to state in golf, and that team went to nationals in cheerleading... Unless that pertains to your reason for them not winning in football of course.

I predict that Southern will win their first when this years 8th graders are in 11th grade. Then when they make the playoffs we will finally have a TVC team that can win a playoff game or two. Just wait and see what this coach can do. You will all be impressed. I promise.

There is your answer! Souhtern has never won a TVC title. Why? They are a basketball school of course! ( They have never won a league title in that either)

I know River Valley has been in the OVC for at least 7-9 years, and I believe they have ner won the conference in football. Which I find hard to believe because Kyger Creek ( one of the schools that joine to form RV), put together some pretty good teams, just what I have heard though...

It takes 3 collective classes to make a regional champion. If one class can do it, it is a one in more than 1K shot. Maybe in the D-5, D-6 it is possible, but in the more competitive divisions it is just not likely.
Just my opinion. Not a fact. However, it hasn't happened yet where one class has done it by themselves!
Last, those who are great in middle school often show the level of coaching by the time they finish H.S. An 8-0 8th grade should be 12-0 H.S! (Not really) Just demonstrating my supporting class opinion! lol
15-0 is the goal, only a rare few achieve it!

Alexander has never won a TVC-Ohio Championship...They have been in the Ohio Division since 1997. It wasnt untill 2006 (or 07) that they won their first ever league game. Not sure of the exact number but they started out something like 0-40'sum in the league.

River Valley has never won a conference championship in the OVC since they joined in '02.
They went 3-2 that year, 2-3 in '03 and haven't won more than a single conference game in any given season since.
From '05 to '08 they went without winning a conference game.

From what I hear, the main reason things don't get better up there is because of the anti-athletic sentiments coming from the top.

I would have to put an asterisk * on this one. While Alexander has never won a TVC Ohio Championship, Alexander was co-champions of the TVC in 1975 back in the days of the unified TVC. Alex also won some games in the old unified TVC, but had loosing records in most seasons.

Alexander also won 2 TVC Hocking Championships in their 4 years in the TVC Hocking, but has had a tough time since moving up to the TVC Ohio, with 2009 being their best season to date in the Ohio.

Winning the TVC before the split counts as a championship no matter which division the team is in now in my opinion. It was harder to win one then than it is now I think.
