This was a good game. Game was tied at 6 after 1, then 25-22 at half. Burg stayed on top the whole 3rd and 4th by around 7 until the lead got to 12 until West brought it clear down to 1 point. West turns the ball over down one with 7 seconds left and they sent Burg to the line where they made both to make the score 52-49. West got a shot up that hit backboard and rim but didnt drop to make the final 52-49.

Great Job West by not throwing in the towl down double digits and coming back and making this a heck of a game. I know Burg is down but still great Job!

Congrats to the Pirates. I know its hard to believe that the Pirates are 5-6 but they will improve and prolly make some noise in the tourney.Good Luck to the Pirates.

As badly as hate to say this I have to disagree with you on the tourney success. With the Pirates having a losing record or right around a .500 record going into the seeding that means they will be lucky to get a 4 or 5 seed meaning they will probably have to play one of the top teams in the sectional. Since they have Oak Hill, Chesapeake. Ironton, and Porstmouth in their sectional this year I really don't see them geting out of it. They may win one game, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them one and done. I hope I'm wrong and that they prove me wrong, but I haven't seen anything so far this season that would lead me believe otherwise.

burg grad: yep...that sectional is TOUGH. Without having a high seed, Burg will prolly have to get through a team like Chesapeake or Ironton to advance. But if I had to bet, those teams would rather avoid Burg in a sectional matchup.*

i agree with you 77. in the few games i've seen this yr i have not been impressed at all. IMHO they will be one and done but i hope i'm wrong. i definatly don't see them makin it to athens

Not only does Burg have those 4 teams in their sectional, but you can throw in a couple of other good teams in that sectional like Valley and South Point who Burg could have to play first round. This sectional is a bear this year.
