Good Luck to the South Point Girls. I have seen both of you play, you are much better. It still will be a good game, but SP will come out on top. I watched St Joe earlier this year, and had the bad luck to set near a very loud mouthed fan of theirs. All game he kept spouting off about everything that didn't go their way. Later found out he is a AAU coach. You have one every where you go. It is always nice to watch the South Point girls play. Good Luck the rest of the way

In playing both teams I felt that South Point was the better team, but I could see some matchup problems for South Point.

Also, its crazy how SP beats these ranked teams in WV and KY and has only lost to #3 state ranked Oak Hill in Ohio, yet never gets any state recognition at all. Its def. more tough in Ohio, especially now that they are division II. Just shows the difference between high school sports state wide in Ohio and WV. Being ranked #1 in WV isn't anything like being ranked #1 in Ohio.

Was talking about that same thing tonight with some other High School girls Dad's tonight. The Pointer's are not getting any notice at all from the people who rank the girl's teams. Oh well, just keep it up and show those so called no-it all people from the other parts of our State just how good you all are!!!!!!!

Nice turnout for South Point fans tonight, unfortunately it just wasn't enough. They lost to St. Joe 61-56. Great game Lady Pointers! Nice job Sara Sang and KiKi Smith from St. Joe!

I think the size differential just killed the Pointers. That and the fact that the Pointers didn't use their bench much. I think they only played 6 girls. It was a great game nontheless. So far we are 2-1 aginst the number 1 ranked teams in WV!!!
