its good to see "the man row" member trying to keep Dave out of trouble, hope we can keep him out of trouble for the rest of this season, seeing how he already has one strike

I agree with ^^^^^^^We need this win coupled with a nice stretch run then I think our confidence will be through the roof come tournament time. I look for Tre and Dion combined to be too much inside for Malik London and the Cavaliers. Tre and Malik played to a wash in the first matchup, with London having 2 nasty dunks, while Tre answered with gritty play. I think both had 11 points a peice. That first game was without Dion and Tory @ Portsmouth. I expect Chilli to be a hostile environment and the guard play between both squads to be stellar. Hopefully P-town comes home with a W.

This game may not be as low scoring as the 45-42 score at Portsmouth.......both teams struggled offensively, and I know from the Trojans' standpoint that the addition of Tory Horne and Dion McKinley has given the PHS offense more octane.

Interesting stat about high individual games for Portsmouth:

Forrest Johnson......33 points vs. Jackson
Tory Horne...........27 points vs. Ironton
Wayne Evans.........23 points vs. Warren
Dion McKinley........21 points vs. Jackson
Tre Underwood......19 points vs. Logan

This makes the Trojans more difficult to defend with Horne and McKinley in the lineup......in fact, Tory Horne has played 5 games thus far, and his lowest tally was 19 vs. Logan in his first game......for the year, he is averaging 22.7 PPG. Forrest Johnson has held steady at around 17 PPG, while Wayne Evans and Tre Underwood are around 13 PPG. Dion McKinley has averaged 10 PPG in his 4 games........in his first game vs. Logan, he didn't see a lot of minutes and scored only 1 point. He had 8 pts. vs. Ironton, 9 vs. Warren, and had a breakout game of 21 vs. Jackson. Not bad at all for a sophomore seeing his first 4 games of varsity action with no previous experience.

biggdowgg: I do LOVE White Castle.......I wish we had one in Portsmouth.......but Casa Del Taco is GREAT........and I don't use that word very often.........virtually every time I stop in Chillicothe for whatever, I eat there.

Tomorrow, though, since I'm going with several people, we probably will stop at McDonald's........but if CDT is open, maybe I can talk them into going........

Many thanks to the "man row" for giving the Jackson police the scouting report on me.......by the way, I did throw my hat once at the Jackson game.......

Every game from this point to the draw is critical to Portsmouth's fortunes in the sectional seeding at Jackson........if the Trojans can get through the next 6 games without a loss, they would go into the draw with a 13-5 record and a win vs. Chesapeake the night before the voting.......it will be tough to go 6-0 but it is doable......no question now that Portsmouth is a better team now with Horne and McKinley in addition to a now healthy Tre Underwood. A 13-5 record might just get the Trojans a #5 seed, which might result in avoiding Ironton or Oak Hill in the sectional final.

A win by Portsmouth would also keep the Cavaliers from tying the all time series, which stands at 40-39 in favor of the Trojans.........CHS currently has a 12 game winning streak vs. PHS.

GO TROJANS!!!
