I think the Guthrie boy from Trimble. He has really come on strong as the season has went on.

SInce Eastern will most likely win, I would have to say Winebrenner. Thompson is the best player though

Thompson plays no defense at all. Plus they are going to finish third or fourth in the league. It will be one of Easterns kids

Tyler Thompson of the Federal Hocking Lancers is the best all around player in the TVC Hocking - Regardless of team record....
Re: TVC-Hocking P.O.Y.??
No defense all offense which he is good at. Howie will get his pick. Tyler should make first team though. Actually the Torrence kid maybe the better all around player between the two.

Now that's one of the craziest statements I've ever seen posted on this forum. Ask the other coaches in the league who they game plan against. Torrence in a nice kid but other coaches don't spend time in practice bringing up his name. On the other hand Thompson does have other coaches "game plan" him.

Winning the league title does not seem to have anything to do with POY...
I recall several years back, Alexander went 17-3 and 9-1 in the TVC-Ohio, winning outright. Their best player, Daniel Skidmore, did not receive the POY Award. Instead, it went to Belpre's Thornhill, who, despite being a very good player, was on a 3-4 place team. The POY is often the high scorer, and not necessarily the best player on the best TEAM...Go Figure...
Tyler Thompson is the best individual player in the league. He can change the course of a game quicker than any player in the league. He also has the Lancers SO VERY CLOSE. The only difference between Eastern/Southern and Fed Hock is a bit of depth and coaching experience. FH at Eastern should be a fun game to watch!
Ask any coach in the TVC-Hocking and they SHOULD admit that Thompson is the one to watch out for!

Lets not argue against players lets just say who and why we think they should be POY.

Thompson is a very good offensive player, but doesnt play much D.......Guthrie is hands down, without question the best player in the league. no other player affects both ends of the floor the way guthrie does. but as for p.o.y it should go to a player from eastern, in my opinion Lynch....the best player on the best team
