Re: Peebles @ Fairfield 2/2
Can someone say Indians?!?!
Fairfield had NO ONE that could match up with any of the Indians. The Cox kid will get a lot of points against a lot of teams, but Seaman shut him down tonight.
This is not the team I was expecting after hearing all the hype and stats on them. Maybe an off night....?
I don't think so.

The Indians played great despite an epic screwing in foul calls. Blake Justice was the leading scorer with 23(2 away from 1400 on his career)
Re: Peebles @ Fairfield 2/2
Good basketball, hard playing and class acts by both teams tonight. Fairfield did an exceptional job with their Coaches for Cancer event and their tribute and support of Andy's dad and the family was much appreciated. Once again, the sea of Peebles Red all in black ribbons rallied to support their own.
Re: Peebles @ Fairfield 2/2
Hat's off to the Indians, very good team. Response to Seamon shutting down Cox, he did have alot of help in the post with double and sometimes a triple team. Big night for Coach's vs Cancer raised over $4,000 with around $1400 donated directly to the Countryman family. After all the barbs thrown earlier in the week I think this proves that the community of Fairfield is not as bad as they were being made out to be. Continued prayers for the Countryman family from Leesburg, and we will do this all again in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, there was some double/triple team help in the post, but it was Seaman, the majority of the time, who kept Cox from getting the ball to score.
Always knew the "community" of Fairfield was a good bunch of people, just question the leadership at times.....
thanks for a nice tribute.

Fairfield got off to a bad start. For any team down 19 in the first half it is hard to do. Give the lions credit, they didn't quit. Peebles couldn't miss in the first quarter. Hands in their faces, and hands not in their faces, they connected. Fairfield went for like 3-21 i think in the first half. Terrible shooting performance and also 4-15 from the freethrow line according to C103 last night. Hopefully the lions will be ready next time, and best of luck to Peebles. Keep representing the SHL.

Fairfield is not that talented??? what are you smoking???..we may not be as good as Peebles or Eastern..but really who is? We are young yes but that only means that next year will be better than this. But honestly 8-6 (6-3) says we have talent.

Ah ok. I guess Fayetteville, Manchester, White Oak, North Adams and a give me win against Hillsboro makes 8-6 pretty good

For starters..we lost to Whiteoak
Yeah it proves we beat who we are suppose to.. losing to Peebles, Greenfield, WCH, Whiteoak (much improved), East Clinton and Ripley doesnt bother me that much cause with the execption of East Clinton, all those teams are good (Peebles by far the best). We have talent in our juniors..Chris Cox (post, rebounder, occasional 3), Cameron Rolark (slasher, 3-point shooter), Ian Adams (defensive specialist, runs the floor, 3-point shooter). Dont diss unless you know them like i do, which you dont
Re: Peebles @ Fairfield 2/2
to be fair, didn't FF win the Hillsboro game from a forfeit? What was the final score?

You would no about your team much better than me...I haven't seen a Fairfield game this year. I read the box scores and g by word of mouth...impressive win against manchester, for sure.

Ok so what teams have you beaten that you would call good? Being middle of the pack in the SHL is not exactly impressive IMO
