I don't know how basketball works with game balls, if both teams provide a ball each game, but i do know SW brought a fresh ball with them.

No you misunderstood my question. I meant at the game last night. She received the ball she made the 2000th point with. And then when she made the points that put her past Nick's all time points. They gave her that ball also. But scorer's table switched balls with the ref. and I just wondered what went on there.

I know what you meant, I was there too. And saw what you're talking about. They just gave her a better ball is all it looked like happened because they guy went over to the ball rack and picked up a different one. Who knows?

Awesome accomplishment...congrats to Kayla and to her family as well. I'm too lazy to look it up, but does any other school have a boy and girl player both in the 2000 point club like South Webster now does? Hard to believe a school of Webster's size could produce two players like Aldridge and Cook in their entire history, let alone within 5 years of each other.*

I've seen her play two times and she is for real.. Thats a ton of points for anyone. SHe is better at girls basketball than aldridge was at boys and thats saying alot because Nick was a beast!!! I wish her luck at Cincinnati. Take it easy on South Gallia.

i've seen her a couple times and she is awesome. should be interestin seein her play in the big east. if she isn't careful they will tear her up. i wish her the best at cincy

As far as I'm concerned, she's the best high school girl bbplayer i've ever seen in this area. I'm hoping to travel to Cincy. occasionally to see her further her career. You make us proud!!!
