Moving schools because of the playing field? Ridiculous! That would be, well, LeBronesque! aka disloyal.

I totaly agree but it will happen we have kids leave now because of coaching' playing time, playing positions, grades ect mix these in with a new field and you will have some leave.

I dont believe people would leave because of the field. That's just trying to find a reason to complain about something. But, GAHS is in a catch 22 because they cant afford a new field and it would be a waste of money to upgrade Memorial Field. Natural elements will always be a factor there. I played a game there once where I left bloodied everywhere by the jagged dried up dirt due to rain earlier in the week, Midget League and Jr. High games midweek and dry weather later that dried up the torn up field.

exactly if you pay 90 dollars a sport it should at least come with a free pass to the game

not just the field the facilities in general weight room, locker room ,shower room everything comes into play I am not saying that your whole team is going to leave at once but over the years you will lose kids

How about this?

Raise the ticket price to $7 for adults, and let the students in free! They will most likely spend their money on food anyway.

I have a grandson who plays for GAHS. I drive almost 100 miles one way to see him play a home game. I live on social security. I am not eligible for a discounted ticket price because I do not live in Gallia county. Can anyone give an explanation of this policy that makes sense?

I don't know of anyone that is eligible for a "discounted' ticket.

galliai did have a senior pass for senior citizens that allowed them entrance to all sporting events and I think it was free with a golden buckeye card or something like that

Sounds like its time for GAHS to make some changes in there ticket policy... Make an offer to the fans that they can't turn down.. Why not offer a senior citizen pass to the games or other incentive deals to buy tickets.. The people in charge will eventually be telling us how bad the situation is but will offer "NO" new ideas to bring in revenues. I can hear them now "We have done it like this for 50 years, no need to change now"...... LOL

I would say only if it was included in the levy that passed. But, I don't know first-hand.

I know for a family of 4 an all year sports pass at Warren was $180 or $185, each one of us had a pass and I thought it was a good deal for all the events we normally attend.

We (Point Pleasant) have a season pass for fans and parents to purchase and I believe it used to be 50 dollars but I am not sure what the price is anymore.

That's for sure... Speaking of ticket prices, a reserved seat ticket for the football season will cost $30..... Isn't the price at the gate $6??? ...HMMMM... So why is a reserved seat for basketball 2 or 3$ more per game than Gen Adm???? Just wondering...No big deal... I feel sorry for the parents....Must pay 100$ for child to be on team, then has to pay to see them maybe play....
