he also said when they fouled Tory "thats not who you want to send to the line." Thats who PHS fans wanted, he is one of our better shooters. No bias from Roger

Best of luck to Valley

Well, we lost this one the way we've lost most this year, sloppy play.

Gotta give kudos to the SOC 2 , looks like it was a better conference than a lot were thinking before this week.

Agreed. Had Burg and OH not matched up in the first round, we would have probably had another sectional champ.

Burg
Waverly
Valley

SW has a chance to win one tomorrow night i believe...

I think the SOC2 is a strong conference, but if Ironton, Chillicothe, and Portsmouth are in I still think they finish 1,2,3

That the SOC is 2-0 vs the SEOAL so far, which we'll probably be reminded of 5,500 times between now and next year :)

Yeah, I know but Oak Hill was undefeated, and they lost to a team that they beat twice this year. That doesn't take away their SOC title. Strange stuff happens in the tourney.

Portsmouth was way up midway in the 3rd and took out Forrest and let up on defense and attacking on offense....then it got close....Forrest still sitting????......then Forrest came in..made a turnover......was sent back to the bench....then Portsmouth didn't take care of the ball and stopped attacking on offense. MIssed free throws....losing composure...and allowing Utley to get decent look at a 3 and BOOM.....7 seconds left and plenty of time.....NOW Forrest comes back in....Horne drives gets a good shot up close and ball hangs on rim and falls off.......VALLEY wins! I hope Horne didn't miss because he just SLAMMED his shotting hand onto the chair during the TO 75 seconds earlier. He lost composure as Valley was making a comeback and then misssed a HUGE free throw.

Forrest stays in....Portsmouth wins.
Portsmouth keeps playing tough defense...they win.
Portsmouth keeps attacking they win.

VALLEY won...GREAT game....great composure when things were going tough.

Throw in Northwest as a winner and headed to the Convo club as well, they beat Huntington Ross by 10.

Valley, Waverly, Burg and Northwest all continue on the tourney trail.

Sorry, I can't resist......the SOC is 3-0 vs the SEOAL so far.
3 down, 5,497 to go!

Waverly took out 2 SEOAL teams.
