State of Marietta Football?
Re: State of Marietta Football?
According to people that coached with him, he was still in college when he began coaching, he graduated high school in 1991.
Re: State of Marietta Football?
To complete that thought... if the above scenario is true, then he would have been a substitute for 5 or 6 years maybe? He had a job offer in hand from elsewhere when he left, and no teaching job in Parkersburg. Can't fault a guy for taking a sure thing.

Sounds like paws is close to some in the know people at PHS or or some of the former staff. From reading your posts i'm guessing you are on the Farnsworth wagon.I would like to see aTiger get the job.I don't think it is going to happen. As a Tiger alum i will support the next coach whoever that shall be. Good Luck

Sounds like you are close or part of the decision making process since no one else knows anything, including those at the high school.

edforshey making the statement answers who it is. Someone told me it was a done deal before the interviews, I guess that info was correct.

Re: State of Marietta Football?
Congratulations to Marietta and Coach Farnsworth. I am glad that things lined-up so that the Tigers were able to find someone that, by all accounts, deserves a head coaching position. Marietta had a tough season last year and will be leaving the SEOAL for the very, very competitive ECOL. Coach Farnsworth will need everyone's support. Good luck to the Tigers and their new head coach!

Hope this guy knows some another play besides a direct snap to Perry Wheeler.
