Senior night at McAfee Gymnasium. The crowd should be big and loud. Bulldogs have already won the league outright but still have a goal (i bet) of going undefeated in the league.

Seniors being honored tonight: Colin Pfaff, Cori Butcher, Frank Valentour, Joey Stanley, Ben McAdoo, Jimmy Herpy and Vinnie Rider.

This group has been very successful and I personally wish them luck in the future. They will truly be missed.

Now my predictions for tonight, going with a winning prediction all season long, Bulldogs by at least 5.

They must not have wanted to win by very much since they could only manage a three point win and had trouble getting that.Eagles played hard and could very well have won this game.Athens is a good team but they are not that much better than Belpre when Belpre plays their game.

Wheeee Weee .... I posted before tip-off that this game worried me ... I have been saying all year how talented Belpre is as a team ... Those in the D-III sectional at Athens better hope not to play the Golden Eagles - I know their only a 4 seed, but they should have no problem moving on to the Convo and possibly ending someones season there too.

Great job Bulldogs. Undefeated in league play, finishing the season at 18-1. I posted someplace else that the Sheridan game is probably a wash. Sheridan still had 3 league games to play as of this past Wednesday.

Anyone that makes it to the districts in D2 has earned it. If they struggle...they struggle....if they make it...it doesn't matter how. They have won a lot of close games it seems lately...the trend is that at some point they keep winning the close ones....but whenever they lose it could be ugly.......that's how it seems it usually works when teams are winning close ones.


Great regular season......nothing can take that away!

The problem is we keep winning very close ones to DIII and DIV teams. Lets hope we can hold are own with some very good teams in DII tournaments. We should get by Gallia easy but next one against Warren or F airfield Union will be tough.
