I want to preface this by saying, I hope all SOC teams advance but sometimes the truth, or what we preceive it to be is something else.

with that being said, I choose the following winners: Oak Hill, Valley,N Adams,Zane Trace and Clay.

Well, Let's be honest. Ironton stands a very good chance if their players come out to play and if the guards see the floor instead of throwing up every shot and why does the coach always bench #21. The players causing all the turnovers get left in. From what I've seen this team has the talent to go the distance. They are the team I am cheering for since my pointers are out. Good luck lady Tigers

The Lady Tigers definitely can win this game and take us to the convo however they have to want to win. The group we have are very talented and has shown the fans just how they can play against some of the best teams (oak hill for example with a 2 point loss!!) As far as the guards are concerned and what games I have attended in the beginning the freshman that was playing the point as well as starting was very inexperienced and couldnt compete with the talent the Lady Tigers were up against. I feel that their wins would have been much higher had the coaches had #22 Tackett at the point, she sees the floor better than any I have had the opportunity to watch, has great passes as well to the post players and when she isnt being double teamed and faceguarded can shoot the lights out!! #21 Elswick adds much talent to the team as well with her height and battling the boards but with her she needs to try not to rush her shots. #14 Taylor does a fine job helping out Tackett when needed and moving the ball around. #33 Morris needs to watch the floor more for open players as she seems like she wants to drive into 2 or 3 defense players everytime with one or more of her teammates wide open for a shot. #34 Ceaser can step up the pace when she wants to but doesnt seem as strong as #21 Elswick under the basket. The starting five being #21, #33, #22, #14 and #34 are a great combination and can definitely move us up to bigger and better opportunities at the convo. Not to forget #23 Lilly does come off the bench to give breaks to a few and does a fine job moving the ball to the right players. Lets go Lady Tigers and show everyone in this town what you are made of!!!

yea and the TRUTH IS THE SOC DOESNT COMPARE TO THE SVC OR TVC
WITH VALLEY,WEST,MINFORD AND BURG ALL GOING DOWN ALREADY TWO TO THE TVC AND TWO TO THE SVC
AFTER SATURDAY THERE WILL BE NO SOC TEAMS OR SEOAL TEAMS LEFT ALIVE !!!
TEAMS LIKE OAK HILL REALLY DONT IMPRESS ME ,LIKE WHO HAVE THEY BEATEN?
THEY CAUGHT ADENA WITH A STARTER OUT AND ONE STARTER GOING DOWN VERY EARLY IN THE GAME
MOST OF THE TEAMS THEY HAVE BEATEN ARE ALREADY GONE!!
CAN WE ALL SAY "OVERRATED"
THEY WOULD BE LUCKY TO BE .500 IN THE TVC OR SVC IF WE ARE BEING HONEST
YOU GUYS CRACK ME UP!!
ALL THESE THREADS ABOUT THEM GOING TO THE STATE LOL!!!!!
IF THEY PLAYED A TOUGH SCHEDULE THEY WOULD HAVE FOUR OR FIVE LOSSES BY NOW!!!
ITS TIME SOMEBODY SAID SOMETHING TO YOU ARROGANT PEOPLE
IM SAYING IT RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW NO WAY ARE THEY WINNING SATURDAY !!
IF THEY DO I WILL BE THE FIRST TO GET ON HERE AND SAY IM SORRY FOR EVERYTHING I SAID
BUT ONLY IF YOU OAK HILL PEOPLE HAVE THE GUTS TO PROMISE TO ALL GET ON HERE AND SAY HOW FOOLISH YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN ALL YEAR BRAGGING ON THIS TEAM LOL

I'm not from Oak Hill but I'm impressed with what they have accomplished over the last few years and I seriously doubt they would not be at the top of any conference mentioned. I also think you underestimate Ironton. If I were a coach they would be just behind Oak Hill as the opponent I would least like to face. I'm also not from Ironton. SOC doesn't compare to the TVC or SVC yet #4 seed Wheelersburg took #1 seed Zane Trace to double overtime and #2 seeded Alexander needed a late shot and overtime to beat #6 seed Portsmouth West. I don't see that as any kind of poor reflection on the SOC.

Oak Hill's nonleague schedule

St. Joseph Central Catholic (West Virginia) (state champs last year)
IRONTON (regional semifinals last year, in district finals this year)
Adena (district finals this year)
SOUTH POINT (regional finals last year, 1st place OVC)
CHESAPEAKE (2nd place OVC)
FEDERAL HOCKING (district finals last year, lost best player this year)

Now I will give you that Adena has played a tough nonleague schedule but how many out of conference games did they win? Only 1. It doesn't help to have a great nonleague if you aren't able to compete in the games. That includes a loss to an SOC school

Adena and Zane Trace are the only SVC schools remaining.

Oak Hill and South Webster are still alive for the SOC.

Zane Trace struggle against a 5th place Burg team and Adena struggle with a next to last place Northwest team.

In the end it doesn't matter because Oak Hill is going to make it farther than any team regardless of conference in the southeast.

They did have a tough nonleague schedule. I am not sure where the SVC is better than the SOC argument is coming from though.
