I see you have the scores could you please give me the stats of the whole game? Like rebounds, fouls....etc...

Way to fight back Tigers! You never gave up. Lets great ready for the tourney!
One thing I did have a problem with was when the PA announcer talked while the Ironton kids shot foul shots and the pep band played while Ironton players were at the line.
Enjoy the victory Trojans! Can't wait to for possible re-match at the Convo...my dream ref crew for that game would be Hardy, Hopkins and Ivan

You know which one I am waiting for

I didn't make it back for the beginning of the 2nd half, so I stopped keeping stats at that time...
Amen Corner said to tell you that was a cop out

One stat I think I saw was fouls...... Ironton 116 ports 16 ...... 92 of Irontons fouls called by the Ports alumni Ref. Fantastic High School Basketball to view from the bleachers. (I think they called a foul once on a cheerleader.) Hope there is a rematch !!

fouls are lopsided because ironton plays physical. IMO i think they foul everytime down the court the officials just dont call it everytime. Ironton is a good team a physical team and aggressive team so fouls are going to be lopsided but the way they play also made them SEOAL CHAMPS so you shouldnt be crying about fouls you should expect it. I seen in the paper about wheelersburg coach wouldnt complain about officials not calling fouls on Ironton, burg was playing with ironton until officials quit calling all the fouls and Ironton got to play physical. anyways nice win trojans

PORTSMOUTH — The streak is over.
The Ironton Fighting Tigers 15-game winning streak and hopes of an unbeaten Southeastern Ohio Athletic League record ended Saturday as they fell 63-60 to the Portsmouth Trojans.
Ironton — ending the regular season 17-3 and 13-1 in the league — fell behind by 17 points at halftime only to rally and tie the game late in the fourth quarter.
Portsmouth shot 54 percent in the first half while Ironton shot just 23 percent and it was 41-24 at the break.
But Ironton outscored Portsmouth 21-8 in the third quarter to get within 49-45.
A layup by J.P. Taylor go Ironton within 58-57. Forrest Johnson made two fouls to put the Trojans’ lead at three, but Zac Carter hit a 3-pointer with one minute left to tie the game at 60.
Johnson hit two foul shots with 23 seconds to go and Ironton turned the ball over on its next possession.
A free throw by Tre Underwood made it 63-60 with seven seconds left but Ironton could not get off a shot.
Taylor led Ironton with 20 points. Carter had 16 and Timmy Kochendoerfer 15. Ironton was 20-of-65 from the field for only 30 percent and 12-of-19 at the line.
Tory Horne led Portsmouth (12-6, 10-4) with 24 points but only 4 in the second half. Johnson had 16 points and Dion McKinley 14.

Re: Final: @ Portsmouth 63 Ironton 60 on 2/20
Great win by our Trojans!!!!.......I am so proud of our kids.......to still get the win after a ferocious comeback by the Fighting Tigers........Ironton is a very tough basketball team!!
Forrest Johnson's steal with 23 seconds to play gets my award for the Trojans' defensive play of the year........and then he swished two FT's to give us a 2 point lead. Forrest had his second straight good scoring game with 16 points, to go along with a 15 point tally vs. Logan on Friday.
This game was almost the opposite of the first game.......at Ironton, Portsmouth fought back from a 15 point first quarter deficit to cut the lead to 1 with a minute and a half left, while last night Ironton came back from a 17 point halftime hole to tie the game at 60 with a minute to play........both teams showed a lot of spirit and heart in BOTH games.
Tory Horne as usual was outstanding.......I have really enjoyed watching this young man play.......he has D1 college talent.......I thought late in the game that he was really tired, but he gutted it out.
Dion McKinley and Tre Underwood helped the Trojans to a 48-39 advantage on the boards, and both made some key baskets along the way.........both these kids have given PHS a dual post threat for the first time in quite a while.
London Malone once again played a steady game........he got a nice three point play and dished an important assist to Dion McKinley late in the 4th quarter.
JP Taylor, Tim Kochendorfer, and Zac Carter all had good games for Ironton.......Carter and Taylor shot the ball well from behind the arc which helped the Fighting Tigers mount their comeback.
Foul shots in both games.......at Ironton.......Ironton 38, Portsmouth 13, at Portsmouth........Portsmouth 32, Ironton 19........
Now it's time to focus on the Valley Indians.......nothing else.......Valley is a good basketball team and Portsmouth must be ready to play well.......GO TROJANS!!!

Re: Final: @ Portsmouth 63 Ironton 60 on 2/20
Tory is very close to the record or he did break the mark for highest single season PPG......the record is 25.5 by Larry Hisle in 1965........there seems to be conflicting figures as to whether he broke the record.......I had him at 25.4 PPG going into the game, and he scored 24, but after the game I found out that he was averaging 26 PPG going into last night.......if he did or did not break the record, one thing's for sure........
HE IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME GREAT TROJANS!!!.......and that's not just coming from me......I have had a lot of former Trojans and others telling me about how tough he is.......
Watching this young man showing his skill set is one of the beautiful things about high school basketball.......what impresses me also is that he has done it on a consistent basis, night in and night out.
GO TORY AND GO TROJANS!!!

Dang...it was tough sitting beside Biggdowgg and the other Portsmouth Rif-Rap during that game and afterwards, it never got any better
I was thankful though that I never saw Trojan Dave after the game. It was funny where we were sitting cause you could only see his head and shoulders when something happened and he'd jump to his feet..he kinda reminded me of a 'Trojan Dave In The Box'

Re: Final: @ Portsmouth 63 Ironton 60 on 2/20
Torey Horne did all this in only 10 games,,,,scarey to think what his numbers would have been had he got to play a full slate of games for the season.

Ironton was a victim of its own aggressiveness...
I heard that somewhere else
