Jon Jones vs Brandon Vera
This is the hardest fight on the card to predict. Many are going with Jones because he's the hot prospect of 2010. Vera is a legit threat to Jones and is actually more skilled at both striking and jiu-jitsu. I'll give the wrestling advantage to Jones though. Jones' length makes him a strange fighter to prepare for at the light heavyweight division. I'll take Jones, but Vera at +200 is a solid bet.
Junior Dos Santos vs Gabriel Gonzaga
Cheik Kongo vs Paul Buentello
Alessio Sakara vs James Irvin
Duane Ludwig vs Spencer Fisher
Clay Guida vs Shannon Gugerty
Eliot Marshall vs Vladimir Matyushenko (Probably going to be a very boring 30-27 top control-fest for Vlad)
Brendan Schaub vs Chase Gormley
Mike Pierce vs Rob Kimmons
Eric Schafer vs Jason Brilz
John Howard vs Daniel Roberts

Re: UFC Live on Versus: Vera vs Jones
Predictions:
Jones 2nd Round TKO over Vera, Vera is the biggest underachiever in the UFC and i will never pick him cause i never know who will show up.
Dos Santos 1st Round TKO over Gonzaga, good test for Dos Santos on paper but i dont think he will let Gonzaga get him to the ground
Kongo late 1st early 2nd KO on Buentello. Kongo is a bad match up for Paul.
Irvin over Sakara, Irvin's first fight since Anderson Silva
Fisher over Ludwig
Guida over Gugerty, Guida really needs this fight if he loses it might be bye bye for the Carpenter.
Matyushenko over Marshall
Schaub over Gormley
Pierce over Kimmons, Pierce looked really good against Jon Fitch
Schafer over Brilz
Howard over Roberts

Schaub defeats Gormely by 1st Round TKO
Howard defeats Roberts by 1st Round KO
Elkins defeats Ludwig by 1st TKO (Ludwig ankle injury)
Matyushenko defeats Marshall by decision

Main:
Sakara defeats Irvin by 1st Round TKO
Kongo defeats Buentello by 3rd Round TKO
Dos Santos defeats Gonzaga by 1st Round KO
Jones defeats Vera by 1st ROund TKO (vicious elbow)
Things I've learned, Jones erased any doubt that he is a future mega star. dos Santos can KO anyone who is dumb enough to try to stand with him I would like to see him and Velasquez hook up in a brawl

Yeah he has a habit of that just ask Matt Hamill, I still count Jones as undeafeated although he got DQ with Hamill he was gonna murder him all night long, but yeah good fight by Jones

Vera underwent surgery yesterday and is barred from sparring for 4-6 months. All from one elbow
