Burg 57 vs Oak Hil 51..FINAL 2-26-10 3rd meeting this year

I plan on going to this game and doing something I never, ever, ever thought I would do...here goes...Hoping for a Burg win!!!

One thing everyone needs to keep in mind. Ondera has faced no one that really can stop him on defense. Friday night he is going to face Mcbee who is a heck of a defensive player and is super quick! Mcbee is coming back from an illness he was dealing with and should be good to go! I think that will mix up Oak Hill a little a force others to produce on Oak Hill's side.

Waverly might not have stopped Ondera but he sure was slowed down. In Saturday's brawl I think he had 13 points and probably eight came on foul shots. The first game he only had 11. Not career games for the POY.

I think this game will be a dogfight, but I still see the Oaks coming out on top. For whatever reason, Burg hasn't been able to put together a complete game together when they need it. I also don't see Persin letting Stegman beat them, so Bendolph will be the key. Will be close but got to go with the defending champs in this one...I'll say Oak Hill 47 Burg 42.*

If any Burg players end up on the floor during the game it might be worth your time to see what transpires while they're down. Especially in light of the tactics that were employed at Waverly last Saturday night.

Tigers2010, you're telling me that Malone didn't shut Ondera down? How many assists did he have? I would expect your reply from the Oak Hill Fans. I'm fully aware of the duties of a point guard and for one of the posters to say that no one has shut Ondera down is what I was answering. He hit a three early and a shot at the end of the first quarter. That's 5 points which meant only 8 the rest of the way with foul shots thrown in.

I didn't say Malone didn't shut him down. Malone did a great job on Ondera. When Waverly only scores 36 points Ondera leading the Oaks with 13 is all he had to do.
