This game is going to be a down right war. No one is guaranteed a win in this one by any means. If Burg comes out and slumps around till half time...they are doomed. If they can't get shots falling for them..they are doomed. I have seen it many times this year with the Burg. Now, if Oak Hill thinks they are going to come out and Burg is going to lay down for them..think again. You know that team is coming with a will to win and a will to fight. I am sure Persin is well aware of what is a stake tonight. Burg, play your hearts out! Defense wins ball games!

For the third time this year Persin and the Oaks will defeat Barrick's Pirates.

That would probably be the 1st time Persin ever beat Barrick in a tournament game in the last 15 years wouldn't it?
If the Oaks do win, it won't be Persin, it'll be the HORSES.
Persin has had better teams than Barrick over the years and Barrick has beaten him like a red headed stepchild in the tournaments.

Bucknut: I hope your right. I say that because, Burg is a very good 4th quarter team. Where they struggle is the 1st and 3rd. They tend to get off to a slow start in those quarters. But I have seen the Burg at Chesapeake this year and they made large come back in the 4th and loss. I saw the Burg come back in the 4th from a 17 point defecit against Northwest and win, and many many many 4th quarter comebacks and they fell short. The reason for this is because Barrick doesn't allow his team to give up.

This will be a extremely close game in my opinion. But if Burg has any chance they will need to shut down Ondera which I just dont see happening. Also I think it is time for Barrick to start using the Massie boy he is a great outside shooter, and he couldn't be any worse than what the burg shot last time against Oak Hill. But I will take Burg in this one I'm sure Coach Barrick and Coach Massie having Something up their sleeves. Go Burg!!!!!!!

Alright, Barrick has no state titles and Norm has one..... But still both are great coaches. Still lets look back at past history of why Norm probably hates Burg with tourney games because of how many times Burg has spoiled his tourney hopes. Burg is not a team anybody wants to run into in the tourney especially with nothing to lose. But overall it will be a great game Burg will have to play near perfect to upset the Oaks in this one.

Hardware is all that matters! Guess he should have got his when he had the HORSES! Barrick is a great coach and I have alot of respect for him but I guarantee you that he would trade every trip to the state for one ring!

One thing about Burg. They will play hard and physical if they need to. If pushed, they will push back. I do admire them because they are not wussies and will not wine and cry for a week after this game if it is a hard fought game and they end up losing. Good Luck to both teams!
