South Webster softball?

What has happened to the south Webster softball program? Once upon a time they were cream of the crop back in the late 80's and early 90's.

I can see the Jeeps getting better starting this year. They have some talented freshmen coming in with one of them being a pretty good pitcher. If the girls work hard I can see them moving back near the top of the SOC. Didn't they go about .500 last year?

south webster will be pretty good this year. they have a solid defense for the year as long as they keep their head in the game. the only thing hurting them is their offense but they have a GREAT hitting coach coming in to help with that. the coaches are going to pull together and take this team somewhere this year along with the senior leadership.

They should be better this year with new players and coach. It was kind of wierd to look in the gym and see them working on a drill that could help, unlike the last couple years when things seemed to consist of the players telling the coach what to do because he didn't have a clue.

Have they had any scrimmages yet? What does their schedule look like?

With the talent they have returning, I'd say they should be very solid and compete in all games.

Who is the new coach? I thought Coach Schuff (spelling) was still there.

Shuff is still the head coach. Assistant coach is Steve Clay who has coached Little League and ASA over the years. Has a lot of knowledge of the game.

Game with East rained out :-( From what i seen at the scrimmages on Sat they will be just fine. Fingers crossed for the game on Wed.
