Starting five for the Peake I hope is Trent Saunders, Peter Hintz, Gunner Hill, Seth Ransbottom and Colton Lindsey. Its senior night for those guys. Would love to see those guys get to see a lot of playing time. Wont be a blowout. Maybe Peake by 16????

That would be a nice tribute to these guys who have given so much, but it won't happen.I doubt he will even start Lindsey, who has played big for him lately.

Chessy is a pretty good team and a hard matchup for RV having pretty good size and going about 10 deep. Rv goes 6 deep on most nights. So i figure Peake by a few but that is why we play the games,i just hope the officials call it the same on both ends seems RV has a lot of problems with the Zebras at games in Lawrence Co. One big reason the Jump to the TVC is being discussed many of the RV parents and folks feel like outsiders in the OVC.

Ole bobcat. Chessy is not that deep. They have been playing 6 players most if not all of the season til the end of the game. I'm just hoping the seniors get to play a lot like all schools should do. Those kids have stuck it out and had fun all year. As the same with MOST schools all over. Every player has a role. I just hope they get to play as well as all the seniors from RV. Be nice Chessyfan. You never know.

I hope Coach Davis does start all five of them. I know when the Peake played up at RV, it was 21-1 at the end of the 1st quarter. I don't think starting them is going to hurt at all. They're all hard workers and deserve to be rewarded for the past four years.

That's what I'm talking about!!

Our Jr High wasn't allowed to compete in any Jr high activities for the first 8 years we were in that league. Well hope you can find a replacement for RV it is most likely coming!!

We came in around 2000-2001 not sure exactly when maybe a year later
Vinton Co, Wahama, Meigs, Pt. Pleasant, Welston,Southern, Eastern all TVC Schools

Not everyone is unfriendly, there are very many friendlies in the League.
Anyone who has made those drives to away games know what it's like we do it 5 times in Basketball and at least 3 in Football. TVC is also a lot better fit by location.

RV joined the OVC in 2002-03. However RV jr. high program was still non existant until a couple years later after the elementary schools finally combined. I think it may have been 04-05. Not sure about that though.

Back to the topic, Peake is up and RV is struggling but improving. I don't think RV has beat Peake since joining the OVC. Anybody know that for sure??? I know RV upset Peake when Peake was 19-0 in late 90's. Peake traveled to Cheshire and got beat. But they were not league opponents. Keeping that in mind I still would take Peake this time out.

Tubby is correct on most of his post...
RV joined the OVC in 2002-2003.
The first season to play as RV junior high was 2004-2005. This years senior class is the first to play together from 7-12. Could not have played in the OVC tourney until this time. Maybe 06-07 was the first year admitted for this tourney?

RV has beaten Chesapeake in OVC play 2 times. Both during the 2006-2007 season. Up until the last 3 seasons RV had finished in the top half of the conference every year.
