I have been at the Middle school track over the last two weeks and I wouldn't want to run on it. It has really went down hill over the last couple years. Too many bad spots.

Does anyone know for sure where this will be held at?

Not sure which track. 3 teams better than 2 i guess. Might be the only time Jackson sees Marietta before league. As i said before, we are pretty inexperienced this season so it will be a tough year unless they grow alot and quickly.

I'm thinking Logan and Marietta lost a lot of eighth graders from last year. I know about 16 of them are on the varsity this year for Logan.

Not sure about Logan or Marietta. We saw them in cross country and Marietta had one girl in the top 10 i think but distance wise neither team seemed strong (Gallia n Warren will be brutal in the 800 and mile). Guess we'll find out wed...

Marietta (girls) did lose alot from last year...It seems to me that they had 1 or 2 decent mid distance runners and a pole vaulter whom were from 7th grade.
The boys however didn't lose much, it seemed like last year was a down year for them

It'll be interesting to see if anyone steps up from Marietta or Jackson as they both seem to have young teams.

If I heard correctly Marietta's JH numbers are 130 total for track, Warren's is 90 total at last nights meet at Warren, I didn't get a count on how many Fort Frye had.

Just came in from the Jr high meet at Logan against Jackson and Marietta.

They didn't give a single event out to the fans tonight and never gave a score while thing were going on.

I would say Logan won both boys and girls tonight. Jackson had some good showings in the boys and girls tonight.

Anyone get a score please let me know

On the girls side, Ironladies won the 800, 1600, and i think the high jump. I believe 3 girls had the bulk of the points. Definitely alot of work to do. Logan girls look like they have some potential but i still look for Gallia and Warren to clean house. I think Gallia is coming to Jackson on Wednesday. On the boys side it seemed Logan looked strong and Jackson had a few bright spots. Marietta surprised me as i thought they would be alot stronger and by the end of the season very well might be. Time will tell.

Meet at Jackson 4/7. Looks like Gallia, Alexander and Wellston are coming to town. A chance to see 4 of the better middle school distance runners (girls) in the area. Gallia should win this one easily on the girls side, not sure what any of the 3 have on the boys side.
