Dundas, for your information, i am NOT pro Warren. I even said in my post that i hope i am wrong. I am just realistic. Actually i really dont care much for Warren. They seem to be a bit arrogant at times and I am a Jeff Skinner fan. I just think Warren is better than Athens, period.

i see more unwarranted, unprovoked rambling about the TVC by TVC fans than i can shake a stick at. I havent seen one Warren fan call Athens or their leauge inferior or any other SEOAL fan for that matter. A few frustrated TVC fans have been wanting to vent and we get this? I see outsiders calling it the way they see it, Warren has played a better schedule and is better prepared and thats their opinion, of course it gets spinned into VC beating Warren in a scrimmage..oh and 5 years ago in sectionals.. wake up these kids werent even in high school when that game was played

I could not agree more. Never post the truth on here if it is not pro Athens or you will have 8 or 10 posters jump you for being an Athens hater. Some will go so far as to say, "the coaches and players at Athens do not care what you say all they do is keep winning..." I myself am a TVC fan, but I can usually decipher reality when it is staring me in the face.

Look for the same dose of Venham like last year's tourney tilt! Athens had no answer for him, 27-28 points and a bunch of boards! If they do want to commit 2 guys to him and closely guard Cunningham, fine... then Fivecoait, Ellenwood, Knost, Lang, Hasteys, etc will have some great looks! O boards will be aplenty w/all the attention given to Batman & Robin!

Warren's team may be similar to itself from last year, but the only similarity of the Athens team this year to last year are the names of players. This year's team is definitely not last year's team. So respectfully you can't compare last year's game outcome to the prediction of this year's outcome.

Hands down this is going to be a great game. Can't wait for it.

I will take Warren in this contest. They have been doing very well in a tough conference. Athens is a very solid team but lacks size compared to Warren, they are very big, fast and atheletic. I predict Warren 63 Athens 54 final.

I hope Skinner and Athens takes account of what I posted earlier because if u take my points that i made away from the Warren squad then athens will win this ballgame.... They got to play smart defense and they need to take the game to Warren and not back down......... Athens CANNOT RUN WITH wARREN THEY JUST NEED TO BE CALM, PLAY SMART, DONT LET wARREN DRIVE AND PUT SOMEONE ALLOVER Cunningham.

Athens is a very good defensive team. They rebound really well and they are outstanding at controlling the tempo of the game.

I am a Warren Warrior fan. I hate no team in the TVC. I do dislike some teams in the SEOAL, however, because they have beaten Warren in various sports in the past and I don't like it. I know, WAH WAH!.. Warren should win every match-up they come across hands down............. Ok, back to reality. Warren vs Athens will be a great game. I will be there in the proverbial cheap seats to root my team on. I hope all of the posters on this thread come to the game so you, too can see the reality happen. May the best team win and let there be no injuries or bad sportsmanship. Also, may the Basketball Gods be on Warren's side.

Athens is an excellent team and has the respect of many. They don't have to prove anything to anyone. Their season has been great whether they win or lose that game.

I know Athens at least has the far advantage in coaching aspect because Skinner is so much smarter than Maddox but the only problem is that Warren has more athletes and it is alot easier for Warren to put a better team on the floor year in and year out but if they would have had Skinner as coach the last few years they might have had a State Title uner ther belt by now. go athens beat the arrogant warriors and there filthy acting and poor sporting fans.
