Congrats on the win to SW. Cook played very well, but Turley scored right there with her until the foul shots ending the game. Eastern in the second half came out firing but SW just made too many threes.

Congratulations to Coach Burdette and the Lady Eagles. I think that the Beatles said it best with "It's Getting Better All The Time".......
Lady Eagles overachieved this year, and congratulations. Shout out to Kasey tonight with her biggest game in her Eagle career. Kudos to all the Lady Eagles, great game, just couldn't shut down the Cook girl enough to walk away with the win.

Congrats to the Lady Jeeps. That being said, Way to go Lady Eagles. You had a great season and have helped put Eastern back on top. You girls have nothing to cry about. Wish the score could have been flip-flopped, but it just wasn't in the cards tonight. Great second half. Audri and Kasey will be missed. Also, congrats to Kayla Cook---LOVED the way you went up into the crowd and hugged your parents. Good luck at Cincinnati, they got a great player. GO EAGLES!!!!!!

CONGRATS TO THE LADY JEEPS!!! An to the SENIORS u have done something that no other group of girls have EVER done !!! 4 STRAIGHT DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP !!!! GREAT job to the WHOLE TEAM. To Reedsville CONGRATS on a GREAT SEASON an being ranked in the State nothing to hang ur heads about. Again CONGRATS!!!

I thought the game was over when SW went on a 20-5 run late in the 1st and early in the 2nd as Cook dished off for 4 treys from the perimeter shooters, as well as scoring herself on plays in traffic. But Eastern kept playing and got back in it, winning each of the last three quarters. When they got it to 57-54 with around 3 min to go, the same shots that had been falling, wouldn't fall for the Eagles. The closest they would end up getting was 2 points at 58-56 and 60-58. The strategy of fouling Cook didn't work as she made her last 6 in a row(points 57-62 for SW) and 8/10 in the game. I thought they should double her to get the ball out of her hands and try fouling someone else in the last minute.

Congrats Jeeps, thats 1 SOC team in the regionals. Chillidog goes 0-1 in his wonderful predictions. I think that there is going to be a lot more of him being wrong in the next few days.

Congrats to my Lady Jeeps! Cookie was great as always but Kaci Messer came up with some big shots in the first half. She didn't let her freshman nerves get to her. The future is still bright for the Jeeps.
