(HANNIBAL) River's kicker, Tanner Wright, is one of the best kickers in the East District. Don't have his stats handy, but anyone who has seen River play will say he could be the Pilots' next D-1 kicker behind Rich Merryman, who kicked for OSU back in the 60's.

High school kicker? Senior or not Vinton County has not had a true kicker since Kevin Caudill graduated.
They should have a fine one comming up though. He kicked extra points in 7th & 8th & a couple of field goals in 8th grade.
The Mullins kid at jackson is a fine kicker. Not sure on his Field goal accuracy or distance, but can consistantly put the ball deep or in the end zone on kickoffs; a great weapon. I think he will be a senior if he did not grad. this year?
Every successfull team usually has a great kicker.

He transferred to Bishop Watterson. There was a huge blow up over that little mess.

Thanks. Oh well, that seems to be the trend these days. Does his dad still work in NY schools?
I met Patrick during middle school basketball, and noticed he was not at NY this year.
I don't know if he could kick or not sorry about changing the subject.

I look for him to hit a couple long ones this fall.....
Also, I've been told that Logan has a decent backup kicker....

Montgomery will be really important to the team next year. Hopefully he stays healthy this year.

I saw Montgomery kicking yesterday and he made a 60 yarder that would have been good for 63!!! I think he's improving big time. He had alot of kick-offs ending up in the endzone and one went out of the endzone!

I'd say he's Logan's all time best kicker and i'd like to see him get the chance to break the record this year. It's sad he didn't play his freshman and sophmore year we could of used him.

There's a kid from Warren (Chas Miller) thats going to be a sophmore next year. He was 100% in varsity when kicking for the senior kicker Daniel Scott. Should be pretty good this year.

Montgomery's dad said that they were kicking one day and the athletic director came out on the field and told him that he was better than Josh Jackson. And also Josh Jackson's parents told Derek's dad that he was a better kicker than Josh was so that tells you something there.
