I think he has a good chance! He proved that he can kick under pressure like he did against Pick North. And do you see his warm-ups? He was kicking 50 and 55 yarders!

I first noticed him last year kicking out there before a track meet at Logan. Then, he was kicking from the 40 and it was landing on the pole vault runway. I would say that is about 60yds

I believe he goes out and kicks when the football team is working out or after they're done on the week days so he could be kicking this whole week. He has a strong leg and im not sure about any looks or offers yet. Does anyone think that Montgomery could possibly have a stronger leg than Basil or any of the kickers this year? Im just wondering im not trying to say he's better than anyone i just want to know who has the strongest leg.

With seeing both of them last year--Basil is a lot smoother but I would same he has less range. You could see he had a kicking coach
Montgomery has the stronger leg that didn't have the control Basil has. With Montgomery working with a coach he could very well be a lot better his senior year than Basil was his senior year.---But--with the season Chillicothe had last year Basil's talent wasn't really showen.

So how well do you think Montgomery will kick? And will he be the kicker to watch this year?

Sounds like Montgomery is a good kicker. Does he punt too ? I know Angle punted last year. I just searched and see he worked with Tim Williams' "Up & Through" kicking lessons. Since tOSU just got Basil, maybe Derek would like to play in Florida ?

No i believe not because i think they wanted Angle to punt so in case they wanted to fake it then they had someone to throw the ball. Maybe he'll punt this year. Montgomery is the goalie for the soccer team and he punts the ball pretty far so he should be the punter next year. Is Derek good enough to play in Florida? Can Derek be one of the top kickers in the country or just in the state?

I don't believe he does have any looks or offers yet. He probably needs to go to kicking camps where he can get noticed more!

I wonder where he wants to play at? Does anyone know any colleges he'd like to play for?
