Congrats to Manchester. The SHL will be well represented at the convo on saturaday with Manchester, Eastern Brown and Peebles all playing for a district title.

I am surprised, and disappointed, that a team as good as Eastern, loses a game because of ball management. However, that is what this boils down to, from an unbiased supporter from outside the eastern school system.

Congrats to Manchester, big win. Good luck the rest of the way.

Ironman - I must agree with you on that one. As for some of the prior comments about Eastern losing five games in Manchesters league, well, you know what I all think about that whohaa........Congrats to the Iggles on a great year, just one or two plays away from continuing on this year........

Congrats on the win to Manchester. A hard fought battle. After Eastern didn't show up in the first half, they just couldn't fully recover. And by saying that, I'm not taking anything away from the win for the hounds.

Congratulations to the Eastern Eagles on an absolutely spectacular season. It may not have ended the way you wanted it to, but you ran it down to the wire and you were one of the best. Yes this is a heartbreaking loss, but this is a season that you can look back on and know that you truly went:

All Out. All Game. All Season.

And that is NOTHING anyone can ever take away from you.

actually I don't....but could probably guess

SHL is 13-7 thus far in the tourney

8 of 10 teams won 1 tourney game or more....2 that didn't were defeated by another SHL team

3 of 8 SE district teams from SHL are in the district finals

Guessing completely...but IMO the Iggles would lose at least once to Peebles, Eastern Brown, Ripley and obviously Manchester.....@Fairfield, @ Whiteoak, and home games versus Peebles, Eastern Brown and Ripley would likey result in 1 or 2 more losses......but no way anyone will ever know....just my guess. I think the last SHL team to defeat Eastern Meigs @ the COnvo went to the final 4.

Believe me, this Eastern team didn't play their best tonight. The second half they fought and clawed back---but the shots just weren't falling--especially in the first half. I've seen all the teams you mentioned play and they could have beaten each and every one of them.

honestly, there's no absolutely no reason to call a player out like that. yes, kelly had an outstanding night and an outstanding season. i actually agree with you that kelly should have won it, but you dont have to express your opinion by putting down jake--thats unnecessary and childish.

was at the game and it felt like more than just a district semi-final. Eastern could not make the shots of course that could be because of Manchesters D. Thought it was a great game to watch. The hustle showed on the floor tonight showed me how bad both teams wanted it. Again great game to watch.

Way to go Manchester, you proved tonight that even when you don't play your best you find a way to survive and advance. Saturday will be fun.
